I created this card for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 21. I embossed the background with the Falling Hearts background stamp and then used a spray mist to create the watercolor wash over it. I finished it up with a sentiment and image from Stinkin' Cute and the umbrella image from Abby's Spring Showers.
Warm colours version of my CAS stamped watercolouring with Simon Says Stamp products as part of the SSS Flickr group challenge 126 "Crazy for Coloring" in honour of Kathy Raccosin's the Daily Marker 30 Day colour challenge. I used an emboss resist for the small flowers from the Spring Flowers stamp set and then used the Brush Strokes Messages rectangle with Debbie Hughes' Palette card of Daniel Smith watercolours in Hansa Yellow, Pyrrol Scarlet, Quinacridone Coral, Quinacridone Rose along with painting in the flowers with more concentrated colour and then adding glitter and jewels. Sentiment is stamped with black Archival ink and the clear heat embossed. #SSSFlickrchallenge126

A card for the current SSS flickr challenge to create something around the theme of new. My new are the dies that I used that coordinate with the Sketch Ranunculus stamp set. My other new product is Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I used that to create my background. After inking up my cardstock I flicked on water to create the background. Watercolored the flowers and other bits with my ZIGs and then die cut them with the matching dies. The sentiment is from the SSS set Rejoice! The word "Easter" was die cut from vellum three times, adhered together and then adhered as you see. Added some sparkling clear sequins for a little sparkle.

For the SSS Flickr Challenge #1. Here I'm playing with part of the negative leftover from the first card. I sprayed a card stock piece with the Mister Huey Cash money spray and put it behind the diecut (it looks like the leaves are in front in the photo, but they are actually behind). When I spotted the curly leave stamp from the Favorite Flowers set,I thought it was a perfect detail for the leaves. Added my own swirls and lines as a border. Blogged

I didn’t know what to do with this simple background I made a few weeks ago with white textured paste on Sea Glass cardstock until @simonsaysstamp December kit arrived, and I thought it went well with the red, white and slate palette of the patterned papers. Not to mention that gnome die! He’s so cute. For the chalky effect on the letters, I filled them in with a white Prismacolor pencil. I’m entering this card in Simon’s Flickr challenge.
