The original 9V-SQL was a Boeing 747-212B delivered to Singapore Airlines and operated from February 1980 to August 1989 including a lease to Garuda Indonesia. The current 9V-SQL was delivered to Singapore Airlines on Augiust 22nd 2003 and still flies with the airline.
