(To get serious for a moment: the squirrel already had this peanut when i arrived - other walkers must have passed it out. However, peanuts are not suitable food for squirrels, as they often contain mold spores that can cause cancer. Almonds are also critical because they can contain hydrocyanic acid. So please don't feed them - walnuts and hazelnuts should be the first choice!)

(Um mal ernst zu sein: Das Eichhörnchen hatte diese Erdnuss schon bei meiner Ankunft - andere Spaziergänger müssen sie ausgelegt haben. Erdnüsse sind jedoch kein geeignetes Futter für Eichhörnchen, da sie oft Schimmelpilzsporen enthalten, die Krebs verursachen können. Mandeln sind es auch kritisch, da sie Blausäure enthalten können, also bitte nicht verfüttern - Walnüsse und Haselnüsse sollten die erste Wahl sein!)

I managed to get myself away from the Kingfisher and I went for a walk in the woods - great to see these little Reds still around I love it when they stop in their tracks and get up to have a better look!
