Though you wouldn't have known that yesterday, it poured with rain.

Loved it !

More rain today as well.

Thank you for stopping by and for leaving me a comment! Have a wonderful day!

And of course that means lots and lots of chipmunks.

Ich glaube, das könnte mein bestes Bild 2020 werden. Wenn man bedenkt, dass es freihand mit Smartphone entstanden ist, dann erkennt man was die Technik in den letzten Jahren für einen Sprung gemacht hat.

I think this image will become one of my best in 2020. Considering that it was taken by my smartphone without any tripod one can imagine how far technology has come in the last years.

I don’t often get to see emus in the wild, we followed this one for a while through the dense ferns. Love the look it gave us!!

Small flower buds are beginning to blossom in this summer/fall season. I was in love with how plentiful they were in comparison to the barren background in which they were surrounded. Seeing something thrive in the midst of a wasteland makes one want to keep pushing towards finding beauty everywhere.

thanks for comments faves and invites much appreciated

Happy 1st Day of Spring!

Been a good hard snowy winter here. I enjoy the 4 seasons in Spokane, each with it 's own blessings and beauty. But Spring and Autumn are most special to me. Happy to enjoy earth's rebirth, returning birds and frolicking wildlife.

Have a wonderful Spring Sunday!

Well, this is kinda embarrassing kinda forgot it was Monday!

Went for a combo of Dutch angle and on a coin for my redux theme. This is my first Flickr shot using my new RGB colour mix LED light that Santa bought me!

(could also be for the 'one colour' and spiral themes too)

HMM

Have a happy Saturday!

Good Friday morning everyone, and one again wishing all a great and safe day and weekend.

As we can see here in our Florida wetlands Spring has Sprung and love is in the air, and of course once again I over shot this series with many many images.

Thanks to all for everything.

A strange day yesterday, up at 4 to take my wonderful Italian girlfriend Maura Astesano back to Bristol Airport, followed by a drive back to Bridgend full of dark foreboding clouds and rainbows. As it was still early and we'd had a big tide last week I popped down to Porthcawl to finally meet up with a crashing wave lighthouse rendezvous which I'd managed to put off for years. I actually quite enjoyed it as there were only about six other photographers, and they all left before the light appeared. Later after breakfast a quick look for adders, with seven individuals including two new females, and a. dartford warbler singing nearby. A great morning, Spring Has Sprung is by British Sea Power.

And I'm really appreciating the bit of warmth, fresh green growth and longer daylight hours ❤

So lovely to experience a sunny day for a change. The crocuses really opened up in the sunshine.

A cheerful capture showing Spring is on its way

The mild weather is certainly bringing the Spring bulbs out early, not sure what this is called. The small delicate white flower with peppermint tips is considerably smaller than this macro suggests.
