I was inspired by a little birdcage and spring blossoms to create this cake. The cake was designed for a photo shoot for Real Weddings magazine.
We were to shoot at a pond but it will take 30-45 minutes to have
the golfers already on that spot to finish. Guests were waiting,
I picked up this flowering tree as substitute.
My next post after this is my last post of this wedding.
The rest are for them to treasure.
I hope they like what I did. I told and warned them that I am not a pro.
My artistic background was working on a music record company as
Creative Artist almost 2 decades ago..

Shot a wedding up there recently and did some night shots the night before. Amazing location and lucked out with some clear skies. Milky Way in the wrong part of the sky but that is all good, still a sight for my own eyes :)

Smooth buttercream icing in pale yellow is piped with soft brown branches and yellow blossoms with blue accents. The "double heart" ornaments "hanging" from the tree were a creative idea inspired by the invitation's double heart motif.
