On this gorgeous spring Saturday, I went to Northeast Park. I brought along the camera and snapped a few springtime pictures. Unfortunately my wife had to work or I am sure she would have come too.
This statue of a boy "Springtime" was originally in Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park for an exhibition in 1949 but was moved subsequently to Glasgow Green (McPhun's Park portion).
The lighting was difficult here for this image. The former Templeton's Carpet Factory building can be seen in the background.
More details about the sculptor Thomas Clapperton (1879-1962) and the history of his work can be found via the link below:

The Templeton's Carpet Factory was built in 1892 and its architect was William Leiper (1839-1916).

Here are some springtime blossoms while out with the dog. Finally beginning to actually look like Spring!
I have not taken many pictures of Dragonflies yet with the new camera. Just playing with Lightroom and shadows. Almost took out the leaf at the bottom but decided to keep it in the picture.
While I never would claim credit for anything that's green and grows... this is spingtime in my backyard.
I took this picture last year, and I've been saving it, waiting for Spring. Well, Spring is finally sprung!

Primavera.
Springtime!. Almost an entire season without uploading photos!
It is difficult going out to make photos when the climate does not accompany!
Now that it seems that climate is giving us a breathe, although still cold, we can go out with gloves and a hat on.
This photo is made in the famous park of Keukenhof, a wonder floral park near Lisse (The Netherlands) from where is impossible to leave without have taken a minimum of 200 shots. Due to this is, as is said in their web page, the most photographed attraction of the world and the most visited one of Europe. :/
Let’s see if this is the definitive one and I start uploading photos again oftenly.
Thanks for keep visiting my pictures and any comment will be welcome.
The weather* here in Denver isn't what I'd call gorgeous, but it's warm enough that Petey has been soaking up some sunshine, hanging out in the back yard.
*The delivery mechanism for our recent warm temps was 40-50 mph winds, so not ideal. Still, I'll take this over icy sidewalks.

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain
