Pohpiah is a fresh spring roll. That is, the wrapper is freshly made, papery thin and not fried. It's filled with cooked jicama, lettuce, chilli sauce and sometimes crispy fried tofu slices. Qiji is the stall's name and this was recommended to us by Angie, our cousin in law.

Spring rolls

Smoked chicken, black bean, fresh corn, cilantro and queso fresco wrapped in egg wrappers and deep-fried until crispy.

Served with my special chipoltle aioli.

The wrappers were different, super thin almost see-through. The sauce was kind of spicy.
