Landscape of Townsville and Cleveland Bay lining up three iconic "rocks" of the city. The foreground includes a small section of Castle Hill, or Mt Cutheringa, the central geological feature of Townsville. The headland is Kissing Point, once a military installation and now a vibrant re-development. Across the bay is Magnetic Island, where tourism and suburbia co-exist with large tracts of native bushland. Archived dusk shot, revived with tone-mapping.
Recently found this image of Milwaukee County Stadium taken from the left field parking lot in the archives but unfortunately we cannot date it. In looking at the stadium itself, the sound tower in center field replaced Bernie's Chalet when the bleachers were rebuilt in 1984. Bernie Brewer returned in 1993 and the chalet is not yet rebuilt. To narrow down the date further the license plates in the foreground were issued in 1987. So it seems logical that the image was taken between 1987 and 1993. Obviously, the date is not a big deal but it is an interesting photograph of Milwaukee's past.

The new facilities. The upstairs central section, the social clubrooms and bar fro the cricket and football clubs, was the only section not renovated. The cricket club uses the facilities in summer and football club in winter. The whole facility is managed jointly by the Cricket/Football Social Committee.
