Macro mondays - What is that?
The longer you look at an object, the more abstract it becomes, and ironically, the more real. "Lucien Freud"

My Purple Spoon Osteospermum is flowering well at the moment, though I will have to check again after last night's very heavy rain. It always makes me smile to see the folded "spoon-like" petals.

Spoons in their proper place - the kitchen's spoon tray. Entry for Macro Monday's theme "One Word". FOV 2.9-inches.
No, not those 2 tall peaks in the background. But the smaller pointy peak in shadow in front of them.
This thin prominent peak stands out nicely as one drives north on the Kananaskis Trail (aka Bighorn Hwy, Hwy 40). Was a good challenge figuring out it's name.
The twin summits of massive Mt. Kidd loom large in the background.
Just one of many spectacular peaks one sees in Kananaskis Country.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
