A spring bloom in my front yard taken with my phone because I have been slack in taking photos recently with my camera and the spring weeds in my garden are scaring the heck out of me and roses in spring are pretty corny & cliché. HCS

Spooky is a small plastic gadget/keychain. I added quite a few layers of textures and put him in a crystal ball to make him more "presentable"... :-) The crystal ball was inspired by this video tutorial:

This was my first visit to this location, it won't be my last. I had not seen many shots from here and that always concerns me as there is usually a good reason for that, lack of access or too closed in. I have to say this place is a photographers dream, it is so atmospheric.

This Petite Blythe doll is Sweet Spell Scarlet for “Spooky vibes only” on Flickr and “Bewitched” on Facebook. Her friend on the left is an ornament; her friend on the right is a mini Madame Alexander doll that was a McDonald’s happy meal toy in 2008. The background is a jigsaw puzzle.
One day I was trying to capture a bird in my hedge and when I looked at my photo, this is what I saw!?? I had taken the photo through my window, but there was nothing of this shape on it. The 'apparition' seems to resemble a squirrel ... I have no idea what it was (some reflection?), but I thought it might be fitting to post it for Halloween! 👻
I wasn’t going to post anything for lack of props. But I stopped to see my granddaughters and found this in their neighbors yard.

Spooky Boy wandered into the wrong part of the village, and found himself in the Pit of Bones. He felt quite comfortable.

Exactly 3 years ago made at an old school that was on the list to "disappear". The photoclub, where I was active at that time, had an urban photography trip organised and we were very glad that we could take photos there:-)
I just read that the building is now almost gone to make way for new homes....
Your imagination is the most efficient spooky engine there is... you just feed it with a photo, a detail and off you go, right?
The woods near the top of Midsummer Hill have a tendancy to catch the clouds at this time of year, and the absence of leaves adds to the spoooky effect as their skeletal forms reach for the sky.
