Mr Spock has decided his favorite place to sit at the moment is next to the windowsill beside my Mom. I love that he really just enjoys himself, and tries to outdo previous poses.
For the record, the cat had already discovered the comfort of sleeping in grow bags. The cat, btw, belongs to the folks next door and apparently has adopted a number of families in the neighborhood.

Finally (the post van seemed to be on impulse rather than warp power) my QMx Kirk and Spock have arrived... and what absolutely ****ing glorious figures they are too. Sculpts, paint, costumes, equiment, detailing and even their hands are all little short of wonderful.
Beautifully done QMx, and Nanjin who's brought Trek to 1:6 and overseen this project, I salute you, sir :) More please, much, much more!

Some 30 years later Playmates toys has released some new Star Trek 3 inch figures. Spock is new, Saavik is vintage. Kirk and Khan are also new releases (although, Khan was made back in the 1990s already).

Macro Mondays theme: Behind Glass
Shortly after this theme was posted, the neighbour's cat, Spock, appeared at our kitchen window. He knows we are a soft touch and likely to give him a bite to eat. On this occasion I picked up the kitchen camera and photographed him through the glass instead of opening the door. He was not best pleased.
Full disclosure: The model was later allowed access to food.
