Atrás quedaron las penas, caminante de la vida, aprieta los puños y avante, mira las nubes y olvida.
Sorprende contemplar la delicadeza de las semillas del cardo entre la dureza de su fortaleza de espinas.

I'm hoping to get this lens adapter for October or November!
It's a dainty little thing but has a focus registration distance of around 14cm, so I'll need to be careful not to make it look like an endoscope...
And this photo also shows how I took yesterdays photo! ;)
The filter is a Cokin a113. It basically is a closeup lens cut in half. You just need to be careful with ghosting and the line it creates in the middle of the image, but it's massive fun to use. Hard to focus though as you need to get two objects into focus at the same time!

I was playing with dark field/bright field lighting and thought I'd try splitting it. The glass is 55 inches from the back wall. two sb lights (sb600 and sb25) are 19 inches from the wall, at the same height but 33 inches apart, equal distance from the centerline of the glass, the small black panel is 44 inches from the wall and is only 11 x 6 inches, just big enough to be in the cropped frame. The glass has a blue center in the stem. It had been on Explore 12/18/2009 #407, but has since dropped off explore.

I had a play with the split field filter I got for xmas. It makes my digital camera cry. Had to fix his beak up a bit, 'cos I didn't fit it all in the close up side properly. Oops
