Andrea, Jenine and Cole: splendid people, a fantastic family that has a lot to tell. They have a very strong bond that ties the three of them with warm intensity that is incredibly involving.
They are the first people who happily accepted to take part to this little project of ours (Carlo's and mine) and I have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it because of their fabulous personalities but also thanks to Carlo's capability to direct people and his creativity that every time amazes and inspires me.
It is not easy to deal with portraits, especially group ones because of all the elements involved and the balance that you should not forget to give to your shots. All of the people want to see themselves in a good light and they want to transmit their unique personality while at the same time you try to capture the warmth you perceive coming from their relationship. Complex, diverse and incredibly challenging.
A fantastic experience with fantastic people. Just WOW!

I was very lucky to get on a special visitor event at Stonehenge for the rise of 2 of the three main events occurring in the astronomy realms , 3 historic events coinciding during Moonrise , The Super moon & Blood moon , with excellent conditions ,as the huge moon was rising , the sun setting behind us adding some additional colour to the stones , we were also joined by some splendid people from NASA , plus some Australians whom travelled here for this event an excellent bunch of guys, we had approximately an hour , franticly capturing as much as we could ,then onto Avebury capturing the full transition of the Lunar eclipse being the third ,again a great venue for this .
I love sky as canvas, especially with flowers! Happy Mother's Day to all the women in my life who nurture my spirit and mind! My mom, of course, but also my mother-in-law, my sister, my friends including my Flickr friends, and my co-workers; I have the most splendid people in my life! Hugs and Thanks for viewing! =o)

Munt (Mint)
is a tower in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It stands on the busy Muntplein square, where the Amstel river and the Singel canal meet, near the flower market and the eastern end of the Kalverstraat shoping street.

I found this picture from my exchange to France two years ago! I miss its beautiful views and splendid people!
So I met the quite fantabulous Brooke Shaden and Miss Aniela yesterday at a Flickr meetup in London along with lots of other really very splendid people. A great evening.
Mindful that I needed my 365 picture I cheekily asked Brooke and Natalie to pose for a photo, and right on cue, off they floated to the ceiling in some amazingly artsy levitations. Impressive stuff. Sadly though, my camera's shutter didn't trigger no matter how hard I pressed, and after a few minutes, no doubt exhausted from all their gravity defying antics, they came crashing to the floor.
Then my shutter decided to work.
Not my normal type of photo. And given the location, dreadful light and that crazy carpet, I tried to give it a fashion look in the processing - hopefully they'll forgive me.
