A speed limit sign on the eastbound approach to Dallas’ Santiago Calatrava-designed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.
This house boat on the backwaters of Kerala left our house boat in the dust. He was in a hurry, perhaps to pick up new guests! Most of the house boats have been renovated from old rice barges. They come in all shapes and sizes and some are quite elegant. All are very comfortable inside.

One of the greatest joys of travelling along the Lofoten islands besides its absolutely breathtaking nature and topography must be the many many MANY tunnels that link some of them or which lead the E10 through insuperable mountains. It became one of my pleasures to be at the ready with my cameras and shoot while we were inside. Soo much fun, especially since most of the time you are all by yourself, not a single other car at sight and where else does one have that pleasure?! :)
Another recycled image from the past, converted to B&W and with a different crop. Seen in Co. Galway, Ireland if I recall correctly.

Faster only in appearance - a tram crossing the Rhine-Herne inland waterway in the north of Essen at the blue hour.
My project for the week was to try taking shots showing speed and focus....I was pleased with this one ... also the composition is pretty well balanced. I used ‘burst’ mode on my camera....
Here the cycle is the fast way to get about; the canal providing a more leisurely pace. A slower shutter speed to capture blur.

Light trails, why do we like them so much? My guess is because they give us opportunity to see something we know exist, but is not observable with our eyes. A glimpse into the unseen ;)
