Britney Spears' "X Factor" exit is now official.
Responding to "sourced reports and speculation," the pop star's rep confirmed that Spears will not be back for season three. "Britney did decide, and is in fact not returning to 'X Factor,'" read a statement issued on Friday.
The singer herself added: "I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it's time for me to get back in the studio," said Spears. "Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."
When news of her imminent departure began circulating on Monday, Fox network brass had yet to receive or hand down the official word. On Friday, the statement confirms that "Fox has been informed."
Spears is currently working on a new album, her eighth since 1999's "…Baby One More Time," with such collaborators as will.i.am, Ester Dean and Hit-Boy. Her most recent album, 2011's "Femme Fatale," was certified platinum, marking sales of over 1 million units.
On Thursday, THR reported that Spears has signed with CAA. According to TMZ, Spears is in "serious talks" to headline a Las Vegas show.

For many years, since the discovery of the first cave paintings shed light onto our origins as a human species, there has been much intensive speculation about the existence of a “missing link” connecting man with the apes that preceded him. Here at the Pastime Athletic Club, we proudly announce that we believe we have found this link, embodied in the person of our Club Devolver, Messmaker.
Several of the Red Suit Enthusiasts came upon the mischievous Messmaker during a spelunking expedition in Guatemala. For a time, she trailed this party with the stealth of a master of espionage, allowing only fleeting glimpses of a prehensile tail or furry paw to give the explorers a hint of her presence. The banana skins found draped across their rucksacks that evening, though, raised suspicions among the crew, and they set about poking torches into shadowy crevices to unearth the source of this potassium-rich mystery.
Years spent spying gleefully on slow-witted intruders, many of whom brought with them motives of destruction and exploitation, had given Messmaker a natural wariness of man, combined with the ability to become almost invisible at will; stories from across the world of Sasquatch or the famous Yeti can be attributed to our Devolver and her cunning at evading discovery and capture. A few moments spent in observation of the joviality and high spirits exuded by the Enthusiasts was enough, however, to convince our precocious Devolver of their purity of purpose. She leapt down among them from an overhanging stalactite, producing an effect of great bewilderment and genuine surprise. Quick to recover and no stranger to the Earth’s many oddities, the Club’s adventurers reacted with characteristic enthusiasm, welcoming this evolutionary oddity into their midst.
Today, in addition to amusing us with her constant high-spirited trickery, Messmaker stands as a constant reminder of the tenuous threads that separate us from the beasts of the wild, and of the fascinating spectrum of evolutionary wonders the world has wrought.
"Hannah Courtoy (1784 - 26 January 1849), born Hannah Peters, was a London society woman who inherited a fortune from the merchant John Courtoy in 1815. Her distinctive Egyptian-style mausoleum in London's Brompton Cemetery has been the subject of considerable curiosity and speculation ever since a report by Reuters in 1998 repeated claims that it contained a working time machine.
"Hannah Courtoy was born Hannah Peters in 1784. She never married but had three daughters, Mary Ann (1801), Elizabeth (1804-1876), and Susannah (1807-1895). In 1830, Susannah married Septimus Holmes Godson, a barrister of Gray's Inn.
"In 1815, Courtoy inherited a fortune from the elderly merchant John Courtoy (born Nicholas Jacquinet in France, 1709) through a Will that was disputed in court.
"Courtoy's distinctive Egyptian-style mausoleum of 1854[9] in Brompton Cemetery, where her unmarried daughters Elizabeth and Mary Ann are also interred, has been the subject of considerable curiosity ever since a report by Reuters in 1998[10] reported on rumours that it might be or contain a working time machine, a speculation that has been fuelled by various articles written by the musician Stephen Coates of the band The Real Tuesday Weld."

"Brompton Cemetery is a London cemetery in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It is managed by The Royal Parks, and is one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries. Established by Act of Parliament and erected in 1839, it opened in 1840 and was originally known as the West of London and Westminster Cemetery.
"Consecrated by Charles James Blomfield, the Bishop of London in June 1840, it is one of Britain's oldest and most distinguished garden cemeteries. Some 35,000 monuments, from simple headstones to substantial mausolea, mark the resting place of more than 205,000 burials. The site includes large plots for family mausolea, and common graves where coffins are piled deep into the earth, as well as a small columbarium. There is also a secluded Garden of Remembrance at the northern end, for cremated remains. It is also an urban haven for nature.
"By the early years of the 19th century, inner city burial grounds, mostly churchyards, had long been unable to cope with the number of burials and were seen as a hazard to health and an undignified way to treat the dead. In 1837 a decision was made to lay out a new burial ground in Brompton, London. The moving spirit behind the project was the engineer, Stephen Geary, and it was necessary to form a company in order to get parliamentary permission to raise capital for the purpose. Securing the land – some 40 acres – from local landowner, Lord Kensington and the Equitable Gas Light Company, as well as raising the money proved an extended challenge. The cemetery became one of seven large, new cemeteries founded by private companies in the mid-19th century (sometimes called the 'Magnificent Seven') forming a ring around the edge of London."

“Seattle drivers are paying at the pump for excessive oil speculation, while federal regulators have blown off deadlines and failed to act,” Senator Cantwell said.“In last year’s Wall Street Reform law, we gave the financial cops the tools they need to rein in rampant oil speculation and protect consumers. Today, we’re demanding that they use those tools to help relieve the burden of gas prices on families and small businesses in Seattle and across the country.”

John Thornton refuses to enter into "Speculation" in order to save his cotton mill from bankruptcy in the novel "North & South" by Elizabeth Gaskell. The moment I captured is a scene during which it is suggested to him by a local banker that he invest in a scheme in order to raise money quickly. Haunted by the suicide of his father under similar circumstances, the idea is repellent to him.

Activists from Manchester (South) and Macclesfield WDM groups lobbied Chris Davies (LD MEP for the NW of England) on Friday 27th. April 2012 at his surgery over their concerns about food speculation and the pressures brought by financial elites such as Barclays Capital and hedge funds who trade in contracts with no interest in the production of food or its processing and delivery to consumers. In particular we were anxious to encourage him to follow the lead given by farmers in Scotland and several business leaders who are calling for the EU to follow the US lead in bringing in effective regulation of markets, increasing transparency of dealings by demanding it occurs in exchanges (analogous to the Stock Exchange), that clear and predictable limits are put on the amount that traders or groups of traders can hold (rather than the ineffective regime of "position management" currently allowing irresponsible anarchy that only favours the financial elite), and mandatory, open and clear reporting on positions held by traders.

After months of speculation and spy shots the crew at Maranello have finally revealed their new mid-engined V8 powered creation to replace the F430. The all-new 458 Italia won't be shown in public until September's Frankfurt Motor Show the details were released early this morning. A new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the power ante it 570 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. Eighty percent of that torque is now available at an impressively low 3,250 rpm, thanks probably in part to the 12.5:1 compression ratio.
Like last years California convertible, the 458 gets a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox to send power to the rear axle. A lot of work on reducing the internal friction of the powerplant in addition to reduced aerodynamic drag also helps improve the 458s mileage to a combined 17.1 mpg (US) on the EU test cycle. No mention is made so far of incorporating any type of KERS hybrid system which has been rumored. That may come at a later date.
Like its predecessor the the structure is fabricated out of aluminum giving the 458 a dry weight of just 3,042 pounds. This is after a Ferrari so talk of fuel consumption really does seem pointless. The real question is how quick is it? Based on specs at least, this new coupe does not disappoint. Acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.4 seconds and this is the first production Ferrari V8 to top the 200 mph barrier, now getting to 202 mph.

After a week of much speculation about the traction for the Lowestoft Airshow specials of 2012, especially in light of the fact that two sets of stock were in use, the Saturday morning provided final confirmation that 37419 and 37425, newly overhauled and added to the DRS fleet, were to visit the seaside. The event provided the first Class 37-hauled service train to Lowestoft for some 18 years. 37419 trails 1G92 0928 Norwich to Lowestoft at Haddiscoe.

Ludhiana , 26 February 2014 -
National BJP leader Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections 2014 the season is on for political speculations. Talking in a press conference here today, he said that all knows of Delhi are continuing to evolve their views not based on any field reality but based on either their own assessments or what the pollsters keep indicating. He said till September 13, 2013 when the BJP announced Narendra Modi name for Prime Minister candidate-ship, the speculation was to will the Party be able to project one person Additionally, there was an argument that the issues of governance and anti-incumbency against the government will take a back seat and the elections will get polarized. The size of Modi?s rallies is unquestionably the largest I have seen in the past 25 years. Never since 1989 have we seen such enthusiasm in the Party rank and file; the only exceptions were the two elections of 1998 and 1999 when Shri Atal Bihari vajpaee was considered the most acceptable Prime Ministerial candidate in the political horizon of India. The BJP would have a high strike rate in States in the Northern, Central and Western parts of India. In states like Bihar and Karnataka located in the East and South, it would reconsolidate its gains. In some other States the BJP would be a balancer. Amongst various players in the traditionally Non-BJP states, the Modi BJP momentum could benefit any ally, even without an ally the party could pick up some stray seats. The aspirants for Government formation are many. The obvious front-runner is the BJP-led NDA. If the Congress is reduced to a double digit figure, it would be a clear loser. It cannot be the nucleus of an alliance. He said the "third Front" and the Federal front have too many claimants. There is hardly a large single claimant with presence in more than one state. Obviously, the front-runner's ability to first pass the post is significant. He said that the question now being posted is to How will the BJP led NDA cover the last mile, this is a time for theoretical calculations. He said that the "political pundits" will espouse on them. If one gets a feel of the ground reality it will become clear that these large crowds at Narendra Modi rallies are bringing a clear message, the front- runners score eventually will even be higher than what the pollsters are capturing. It is for smaller groups in several states to decide which way they want to move. There are smaller groups in several states which can marginally add to the collective vote of the BJP and allies partners.
