A Great Horned Owlet appears to be wearing bifocals. Its nictitating membrane is a third eyelid allowing vision while protecting the bird's eyes. (seen in mid-town Tucson)

#5880 - 2024 Day 036/365: Everyone knows the feeling of wondering where the hell you left your specs. I switch between these varifocals and fixed lenses specifically for computer work. Trouble is I leave them in the wrong places.
