Leather is a natural material for eyeglasses that are to perch on the nose. These I believe are from the 1300s and would have had quartz lenses.

It's a long story but I lost the cloth which I had in my bag... then I thought hey maybe I can buy one from Shopee... So here it is, but when mum saw it, she was like are you sure it's those cloth... It kinda looked like a normal one and the seller just cut it nicely...
I was like.... nuuuuuuu!!! My life is ruined...T_T
Oh well.... at least the seller gave an extra piece, it does clean my glasses alright... I think. XD

For FGR's "A View Through".... I actually didn't read the group description very well.
But to see my eyes, you must look through these glasses! Which sometimes get quite dirty, because I just can't seem to touch them without touching the lenses. Probably would have been a better shot if I would have taken this photo from the inside of my glasses. Oh well.... :)
30 Days of Gratitude: I'm grateful for the fact that it's Saturday, and I don't have to go to school tomorrow! Yay for 4 day weekends! More importantly, I'm thankful for surprises. I love giving gifts, and surprising people, and I love being surprised by a kind action or word that I wasn't expecting. I'm thankful for the act of giving and the act of receiving. :) Surprises out of love are the simply the best.
Old pair of spectacles i picked up at a festival. Think they are 14 carat. Feel free to reply as any help identifying would be great. They have been fitted with my prescription
Not quite the candid I wanted but I am learning.
This is a very nice gentleman who drives around in his franchised van selling
yakitori. I was waiting for my order when I noticed that he was wearing two pairs of glasses. He instinctively swaps beween them when taking orders and when cooking.
You can't see in the photo but the inside gets pretty smoky. At the bottom left corner, you can just make out an electric fan which he uses to clear out some of that smoke.
This man is super nimble with his sums (when calculating the cost) and his hands (for cooking the yakitori). He had an infectious smile. I wished I had asked his name.
