Nothing special... just show a full moon. Powerful, majestic, and mystical.
The full moon used to be a sign of upheaval. Today, it's merely a backdrop for a world that never rests anyway.
People can't sleep, not because the moon keeps them awake, but because their thoughts are too loud. Pressure to perform, existential anxiety, the endless flood of information. A society that doesn't switch off even at night doesn't need a moon to be restless.
And yet, the full moon has something incorruptible about it. It reveals itself in all its truth, without masks, without filters. Perhaps that's why we fear it. For in its light, there's no hiding—not from it and not from ourselves.

Esperandote.
You promised you'd take me there again someday. But you never did.
Well I'm alone there now... in our 'special place'.
Waiting for you.
Tonight is the night that I would...

"So this was it finally, the first part of the Hedy Patrucci’s Burlesque Show, long awaited and blanketed like the final training before a cup final. Hedy had invited her premiere guests to the Lyrics Ballroom, and the place was totally draped in matching decorations. After the big success she gained last year with her 2019 show, expectations were high for her this year’s show. And Hedy and her team delivered! – The costumes were glamorous, the dance acts fabulous and the different sets where creative and well chosen.
It was an extremely captivating show and best entertainment in SL. Though SL had its hick ups this evening for many, it couldn’t really harm the shining success of the evening. The enthusiastic applause at the end of the show was very well deserved.
Congratulations to Hedy and her team!"

This is the final performance SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER @ 12PM SLT, full production of professional dancers in Second Life with Hedy Patrucci singing live from The Netherlands
Hedy's performance at the opening night was nothing more than sensational!
She was truly sizzling on stage - and is truly an entertainer in every sense of the word.
Those that attended loved it and she had the audience captivated and dying of laughter with her seductive version of Dr Long John -
All the ladies are booked to see Dr Long John after hearing Hedy sing this song in her unique and brilliant way!
Every song she sang was a masterpiece - combine that with her humor - her tease - really this last performance of Burlesque should not be missed!
Last but not least, the Burlesque Dancers were absolutely sensational and our choreographer Faith Fromund is fantastic!
So blessed and proud to have these incredibly talented and professional artists in my life! Thank you each and everyone of you
A Special mention to Chandra @ !dM DeviousMind - the headdress and feathers come from this store, the creator Chandra is just wonderful and played a huge role in the wardrobe with her stunning costumes.
Lucky door prizes to be won!
Dress it up in Burlesque or wear cocktail or formal.
I have created a "memento gift box" of this special event.
They can be found on the tables in front of the bar, also dining tables are located along the runway for front row view - you will find the gift on these tables, also on the posters either side of the stage.
Come along, bring your friends to the best event in Second Life!
We all know what the ‘bad and sad’ news is each day, we are bombarded with it?
All too aware of it.
Why would I want to repeat-share this?
I prefer to sprinkle some beauty, goodness, kindness and joy, we all need it.
Gerbera is a genus of ornamental plants from the sunflower family.
It was named in honour of the German naturalist Traugott Gerber.
It has approximately 30 species in the wild, extending to South America, Africa and tropical Asia.
Colours include white, yellow, orange, red, and pink.
Hope this brings a bit of joy again rather than Angst which I see in so many images and news, have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

"Special taste" is a translation on the lantern. Perhaps another one of those tuckout bars which are very common in this part of Tokyo. You can see another bar further down the street on the left.
I was looking for more compositions like Saitama without having to rely on the same lantern. So I eventually found this composition. Lantern was in a great place, excluding the guys at the bar there was no one in the shot somehow, but the shot contained something I worked to avoid here at Omoide, the large white signs that say in full uppercase in english "NO SMOKING" & "RESTROOMS ->" It may be different for locals but seeing that just makes it seem like this was not on location. I settled on keeping the signs (because of complications with the sakura) but eliminating the words.
In editing I carried over a mission I failed to achieve in my last Omoide post, and that was making it look like it was taken later at night. I gave the tokyo sign in the back a lot more light and took all the illumination out of the clouds. The lantern didn't have much clarity so I brought in another one of my shots to fill in the blanks and make it a better subject. Saitama's still my better Omoide lantern shot though (maybe I'll remaster it).
I don't know if this is the best shot to start a new month with but it's been a while since I posted on this place. Hell, some sites I visited in Japan still have yet to show up at all on the site. There's no pattern in my processes I can tell you that.
This gorgeous girl will only be with me for a short time. She came to me recently, and has been given a lot of care while she's been here, but she's going to a new home soon. Just after winning this girl (spur of the moment decision) I got the opportunity to buy a chunky banged redhead, a girl I was really wanting. So this little beauty gets to travel a bit more.... would her new mum like to own up? ;)
NJ Transit F40PH-2CAT no. 4120 (EMD, 1981) and sister 4119 are seen leading excursion train X404 across Brielle Draw over the Manasquan River on the North Jersey Coast Line. The train was a special run in celebration of NJ Transit Rail Operations' 40th Anniversary, and featured a locomotive swap from electric to diesel at South Amboy.
I would call this a hillbilly special (no offense, some of the nicest people are hillbillies and billettes) except we have no mountains not to mention hills.
Can't you just see the ad" For sale mechanics special, some work required. Doors and steering wheel optional. Four tires no brakes, just add an engine and your ready to go."
The Route 65X runs for only one day a year, the route runs a circular service from Ealing Broadway to Gunnersbury Park taking people to and from the London Mela Festival. (06/09/15)
A neat find this was. I can't remember if I've ever seen a Buick Special of this age.
Notice in the background, most cars are Japanese....
Last train of the day is this BNSF "special" (extra) ballast train from Paducah, KY to Havre, MT.
Up front is a post-merger SD70MAC, still in its BN inspired paint.
Unseen at the far end of the train is a GEVO, so the MAC wasn't alone, but it was all by itself up front and looked pretty nice.
Not a bad day of train shooting with only 1 train having a GE leader. (photo not uploaded)
Like them or not they are certainly different! A chance for most railways to recoup some well needed revenue. Click for more.
