"I wanna paint outside the lines.
Run the red lights in my mind.
Take everything one life time has to give.
I wanna stand inside a fire,
Walk blindfolded on the wire,
Every man dies but not every man lives."
(From Jason Aldean's song titled "Not Every Man Lives"
Have a listen to my favorite song.

"How to feel miserable as an Artist"
aka ~what not to do
#7
Set unachievable/overwhelming goals to be accomplished by tomorrow
Last week I once again visited Whiting Mills in Winsted, CT and had a great time walking the three floors in this old, restored marvelous 1900 mill building. And, of course, I was armed with one of my cameras to again document my visit. While there I met with Tyler Green, famous make up and special effects artist, and owner of TylerGreenFX Studios.. I will later follow up with a handful of interior shots of this great restored former men's hosiery building from 1900. It now houses small shops, studios, and artistic merchants selling and promoting their wares. Being that there will be quite a few photos I have turned off comments on all but one in the series, so please feel free to view, enjoy, and fave. Thanks to all!

Located at the northernmost point of the Cardo, is the Lake Arena. This pond, which is approximately 90 meters wide, is encircled by a seating area, bordered by around 100 trees, placed in three concentric circles, and accommodates approximately 3,000 people. The bottom of the pond is filled with dark pebbles to create a mirror effect. At the center of the pond there are fountains and the Tree of Life. During the day the three and a half minute show takes place every hour, from 11:00 until 19:00. The evening shows are longer, lasting 12 and half minutes.
Took two shots and combined them, then had some fun with the color! Looked like hot summer to me! lol Hope you like it

The idea for the picture and the idea for the accompanying song is from the daughter of our friends (she is eleven). She tried different hand positions to make the scene as realistic as possible. She was acting like a stunt girl and judging the effect in the photo like a special effects director :). Again a lot of fun. You can get an idea how it was done by looking at the second picture in the series ;)
Telling surreal stories no 3. (no 1 is "gaining height", no 2 is "It is not as you think it is").

Unreal fantasy
Funny and, I hope, short-lived special effect…
Caution! Unreality drives you crazy so one must never abuse of Photoshop mystification
