Last week I once again visited Whiting Mills in Winsted, CT and had a great time walking the three floors in this old, restored marvelous 1900 mill building. And, of course, I was armed with one of my cameras to again document my visit. While there I met with Tyler Green, famous make up and special effects artist, and owner of TylerGreenFX Studios.. I will later follow up with a handful of interior shots of this great restored former men's hosiery building from 1900. It now houses small shops, studios, and artistic merchants selling and promoting their wares. Being that there will be quite a few photos I have turned off comments on all but one in the series, so please feel free to view, enjoy, and fave. Thanks to all!

The idea for the picture and the idea for the accompanying song is from the daughter of our friends (she is eleven). She tried different hand positions to make the scene as realistic as possible. She was acting like a stunt girl and judging the effect in the photo like a special effects director :). Again a lot of fun. You can get an idea how it was done by looking at the second picture in the series ;)

Telling surreal stories no 3. (no 1 is "gaining height", no 2 is "It is not as you think it is").

Unreal fantasy

Funny and, I hope, short-lived special effect…

Caution! Unreality drives you crazy so one must never abuse of Photoshop mystification
