There are always people, who only submit their wishlist at the very last minute. But a solution has been found this year. The Santa Claus who takes care of this special delivery(s) has received help from Bat, an old friendly friend, who flies him everywhere to deliver the packages. Bat enjoys it to the fullest, judging by his broad smile.

The bat is really big, it has a wingspan of 47cm. Length form head to tail 21cm.
I used a 45x45cm brown wrapping paper.
The Santa is folded from 35c35cm redkami-paper. Final size :height 13cm, width 12cm. It can stand alone.
These are complex origami models and were great fun to fold ;-))

This Royal tern parent was returning with a meal for its adult sized young who were not yet foraging on their own. It was fun to watch as the parent would often make several circles calling all throughout while waiting for his young to be in position to take the fish without it getting stolen. Sometimes a bird with a fish would land and due to others on the ground with its young it would take-off again waiting for a better delivery opportunity.

The LSFM B-25 remained stateside during World War II and was converted into a trainer after the war for the USAF where it flew until the late 1950s. Acquired by the CIA, it flew covert missions during the Bay of Pigs invasion from Central America. Later, it would pass through several owners and was eventually restored in the late 1970s. LSFM founder Robert L. Waltrip purchased the B-25 in 1984 as the first of his collection that would serve as the basis for the Lone Star Flight Museum. Known as Special Delivery for many years, the LSFM repainted the airplane in 2007 in the colors of the Doolittle Raiders. It is the only flying B-25 painted in the colors of the Raiders and is the only civilian aircraft to feature the Doolittle Raider emblem. It is the official B-25 of the Doolittle Raider Association.

Description: This city letter carrier posed for a humorous photograph with a young boy in his mailbag. After parcel post service was introduced in 1913, at least two children were sent by the service. With stamps attached to their clothing, the children rode with railway and city carriers to their destination. The Postmaster General quickly issued a regulation forbidding the sending of children in the mail after hearing of those examples.

EWS Class 67 No. 67002 'Special Delivery' hurries through Newtonhill on 20th June 2005 heading the overnight 1S03 0047 Walsall - Aberdeen parcels service. It was often an intensive diagram for the locomotive, as during the layover in Aberdeen prior to heading back south it was often used for a trip working conveying pipes to Larencekirk, and equally when in the Midlands, it was diagrammed for the daily Bescot - Birch Coppice working.
