Its quiet amusing to know that the very judicial system that we're so proud of is the reason why thousands of women don't speak up to get justice and help eradicate violence against women?
Did you know that hundreds of women who come forward to get justice for harassment based crimes end up going to jail because powerful men find loopholes in our judicial system?
Its funny when people open up statistics about the cases of violence against women in Non-Pakistani societies when in reality, the majority of the cases in Pakistan are unreported.
Its time we change the misconception that we're the land of the pure and start correcting our ways... Its time we speak up.

There was a rally for a Free Tibet in front of the Chinese Consulate in Vancouver. A few of us went down to show our support and to learn more about the cause. We realized the striking resemblance to that which happened in '84 to the Sikhs in India. It definitely inspired us to learn more and to further support worthy causes.
