A couple of hundred senior citizens showed up in Vero Beach, Florida on August 16, 2025 to participate in the "Fight the Trump Takeover" event, a nationwide mobilization effort that comes on the heels of a showdown in Texas over electoral maps. They gathered in temperatures that exceeded 90°F (32° C) to speak up and be heard. If they can brave the hot Florida sun in August then you can speak up too. If you're not speaking up in your community then you are allowing this to happen. This event was also attended by members of the Vets Against Trump organization.1232
More than 3100 people turned out for the No Kings 2.0 Rally in Vero Beach, Florida on October 18th, 2025. One of over 2,700 demonstrations that were held, with at least one protest in every state, and several taking place in other countries in support. This widespread participation highlighted the collective sentiment against fascism and the Trump Administration. Resist!

Gemeinsam riefen der Aktive Tierschutz Berlin e. V. aktiver-tierschutz-berlin.info und die Aktivistengruppe DxE Berlin (Direct Action Everywhere) www.facebook.com/directactioneverywhereberlin/ zum Muttertag auf die Strasse, um auf die Mutter Kind Beziehung im Tierreich hinzuweisen.
Denn gerade bei Ferkeln, Küken oder auch Kälbern ist der Umgang katastrophal. Nicht nur, dass sie alle den sicheren Tod finden, sondern auch die Haltung der wunderbaren Geschöpfe ist nicht mehr zu unterbieten.
Und so versammelten sich gut 60 Aktivisten am Treptower Park in Berlin und rückten mit Sprechchören, Redebeiträgen, Flyern und einem Infostand die Kälber in den Mittelpunkt der Gesellschaft. Es ist so einfach, hier unnötiges Tierleid zu verhindern, in dem man beim shoppen keine Tiermilchprodukte mehr einkauft, sondern auf pflanzliche Milch zurückgreift. Several hundred people turned out for the "Good Trouble" event in Vero Beach, Florida on July 17th, 2025. Today's "Good Trouble" event was a nationwide day of action called "Good Trouble Lives On," honoring the legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis. It involved over 1,600 events across the country, focusing on peaceful, nonviolent action and organizing rooted in the Civil Rights Movement, but addressing current challenges. Specifically, the protests targeted the Trump administration's policies related to civil rights, including deportations, healthcare cuts, and attacks on voting rights and social programs.

Congressman Bill Posey continues to refuse to have a face to face town hall meeting with constituents. Instead he has chosen to hold so called "tele-town halls" and hide behind the phone. Today he attended an IRC Realtor Association Meeting in Winter Beach. Too bad he didn't see fit to meet with less well to do. 2018 is coming Mr. Posey.
