decided to slide big today as a tribute to Leonard Nimoy using the space effect in PicMonkey - Live Long and Prosper!
Sooo. I got a WHOLE bunch of pictures of me on this swing in Asheville NC. BUT. They're in RAW files. And I'm using my netbook. So I can't use the RAW files.
So I found this RAW files converter online, but I couldn't view the pictures. So I had to randomly pick pictures to convert.
... And it takes 7 minutes to convert one image. So I decided I'd just do one, use it no matter what, try and make it cool, and then use the cool ones once I get home tomorrow.
So this dumbness happened.

Hey guys this was my first time using SpaceEffect! Credit for showing me is [Caution] Bricks. Enjoy!!
How image was derived: I placed a Kodak Instamatic negative on my light box. With Turboscan I scanned it on my IPhone. Then I applied various apps on my IPhone to achieve this result. Some of the apps used: glaze, superimpose, PencilSketch, SpaceEffects, Instagram
On the occasion of Team Lazio's first score, I was knocked flat in the stands at a match in March of 2015, Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The fans were so jubilant it was as if a human earthquake passed through the crowd upon the first score. Interesting experience. I was unharmed although I fell flat on my back on the concrete between my row of seats and the one in front of me. The fans were standing on their seats the entire first half! It was a highly unstable situation!
Boy, today was a difficult day for a self-portrait. I already had one lined up but didn't feel it was up to par with the my recent work so I decided to try something more challenging. After a few failed attempts during daylight, I decided to risk it and try a night shot - playing with the slower shutter speed of the iPhone 5 in low-light settings. Additionally, after yesterday's portrait, I knew I wanted to play some more with fabrics. So, after many failed attempts, lots of jumping, and playing around with filters, I managed to put this beauty together. I hope you all like it as much as I do - my sore legs will be very happy! :)

#MobileArtistry is creative edits, beautiful images, unique perspectives, stellar shots, and happy accidents. IE, stuff you won't find on the pop page.
Through this ongoing project we hope to expose people to art and artists they may not normally get to see, learn about one another's process, and encourage each other to push the limits of creativity.

Tonight's submission is from Kevin, aka @thisguysportfolio, lets hear about his process. "MORNING FOG AND SUNSET SMOG" are my inspirations (behind my family of course)
Process: I shoot a photo of scenery or an object that catches my eye - whether it be while I'm driving or simply taking the trash out. There is ALWAYS an image to be captured.
I use the photo and take it through a journey; a series of processes and apps ( 23 apps - not all used at once of course ) that ultimately becomes a "piece" of my imagination.
I honestly don't stop until it feels right. Not only does it have to be eye catching, it must evoke a feeling.
The feeling I'm after while creating a piece, is a refreshing feeling I get when it's a cold, foggy morning or the warm feeling I get when the sun is setting - the clouds and smog catch the sun just right, to wear its like the 1st time seeing a sunset. I see something different every time. The feeling can be different for everyone.
List of apps I use: Absolutely. In no particular order: WowFX, SpaceEffects, Instaeffects, GalaxyFX, Mirrored, LensLight, TapFX, iColorama S, BrushFX, Flowpaper, PS Express, Diptic, pxl, Blender, Phonto, ColorMania, Decim8, iDesign, and Artform.
