Originally a commission from a friend to make a picture of their DnD Character, who was supposed to be much like a Halo Universe ODST. So decided to go through SL with this process, drawing it is easy but motivation dies quickly. Enjoy folks!

Completed Shadow Sanctus Captain! Hooray!

More stuff I've done:

- Tried to tone down the purple highlights and tie them together with a few diluted washes. Result: Mixed success. The front ones look OK, but now they've lost some of their pop. The back ones, who can say... I've been looking at them too long ^_^

- Gem Stones are done. Not happy with a couple of them, but only noticed the problem when they're blown up on the photos... Usual method of doing them, just using the greens and yellows instead of the red, orange and yellows...

- The backpack! I've said it before I'll say it again. I dislike Space Marine backpacks. They're boring as hell and seem to take forever... Pain in the ass...

- Completed the Base with one more drybrush of a light grey and then added some brown plant stuff. No clue what the model name is...

Stuff I'm not happy with:

- The handle part of the weapon under the guard is rough as hell. If I'd noticed it before hand I would of tried to chip away some of the superglue build up, but I didn't. Bah...

- No freehand... Again... Sorry Whalemusic, don't feel confident to slap some freehand on him so this is how he ends. I know I should be trying it, but honestly I didn't have the heart to screw it up and have to fix what I've shanked...

This ends my Trade Marine Obligations... I think? Anyway, I'm moving onto a project for myself next. It involves 12 miniatures, all ordered from GW which cost me an arm, but they're worth it... But I wanted specific miniatures... If anyone wants to guess about what the 12 miniatures are for shout out... I'll give you naming rights of one of them if you get it... Hmmm what has 12 miniatures in a GW game?

- I went with Firestone gems. Seemed more appropriate for some reason?

- Flamer housing is yellow, I thought about making the chainsword yellow as well, but black is better with the scroll on there...

- Simple flagstone painting for the base

- I'm trying a couple of new varnishes on his legs, so far shiny... much too shiny... But he will be well protected when I'm finished

- Jump pack engine thingies are just a progression of dark to light grays... Rather than glowing I wanted it to look well used...

- There's a tiny amount of wear / tear on the miniature. Mainly just his legs. I want them to look like they're going back into the field rather than in the midst of battle... Not sure why... Who can say how the dark recesses of my mind works... I do things on a whim

And that's all she wrote...Oh I don't like the photos very much, but the weathers going down the crapper and I can't find my lights...

I am going to try to paint a picture or design on the back of his cape before I move on to the terminators.

Just to prove I still exist... :D

A Space Marine Thunderhawk Gunship faces a Greater Demon of Khorne in a game of 'Hordes of the Things' using GW Epic figures.

Not too accurate, but pretty recognizable interpretation. Had to mimic or replace some parts missing from Mecabricks library, sorry for that.

Ever heard of them? The Intergalactic Space Marine Corp or ISMC for short, is a international army commanded by Earth’s most skilled and highly trained strategists. These men and women act on behalf of Earth and her interests to keep balance and peace, protecting Earth from any threats across the stars.

These are a group of minifigures I made recently incorporating the dual-molded legs that LEGO has been putting into the Minifigure-Build-Stations at LEGO stores. Including those pieces were also some Space Marine CMFs that I got which I slightly modified to fit the vibe I have going here. Some of my favorite parts are the radio the second in command officer is holding that uses a printed time and minifig hand, the weapons I custom built for the marines and smaller stuff like the Harry Potter wand used as a cane. If you enjoyed, I’d appreciate a comment and your thoughts. ~Noah

Some 40k stuff for you. Might upload some actual warhammer stuff too.

This is a MOC by my colleague Luis Castenada. He built it a couple of years ago and it was featured along with my Warhammer Marine on the cover of Brick Journal.

Some years ago when i started to build my first WH40k models i had posted a rendered squad of five space marine.

I always wanted to build a team with real bricks and now the time has come!

Here is my new team of six Terminators, including veteran Lord, Lieutenant Captain, Chaplain, Berserker and heavy weapon supports.

Soon i'll post more detailed pics for each character of team.

I must kill the demons!

Garrys Cataphractii Pattern Terminators inspired me to build this models. Garry is linked in persons, you should check his gallery, its just great!

A bunch of terminators similar to salamanders. The group formed of a captain, a heavy weapon terminator, and a berserker with power axe.

I think I said this before, but I'll say it again. I'm in this hobby because of Jerac and this work is heavily based on his incredible designs!

This is my reverse-engineered version. I made some changes here and there, mainly because I use LDD and some stuff from real Lego cannot be achieved with digital bricks. This is 99% existing parts mode, I only repainted four or five bricks. But I also wanted to make it in my own way, so I used simpler connections and I made not only different weapons, but different carapaces too.

From the centre clockwise:

-Mars Mark V Hellfire Pattern Dreadnought (Twin-linked Lascannon and Missile Launcher);

-Mars Mark IV Venerable Dreadnought (Plasma Cannon and Powerfist with Flamer)

-Mars Mark IV Chaplain Dreadnought (Assault Cannon and Blood Talon with Flamer, Magna Grapple);

-Mars Mark V Ironclad Pattern Dreadnought (Powerfist with Storm Bolter and Seismic Hammer with Flamer, two Hunter-Killer Missile Launchers);

-Mars Mark IV Mortis Pattern Dreadnought (two sets of Twin-linked Autocannons).

I have the sergeant finished already, and my commander nearly complete. Pictures of him will hopefully be posted soon.

Thanks to the recent *beyond awesome* series of Primarchs by funnystuffs I finally found inspiration to build something!

On a side note, I have exactly 365 more photos for my non-pro. This means that even uploading a new image every three days (like I do now) I still have three more years to burn away my thousand. Yay me..?

New version of Terminator with death claws.

I modified the core frame and leg joints, now with better mobility.

I used an helmet with large visor to get better proportions in the figure as well as suggested by Garry.

For the color I was inspired by the legendary WH40K BLood Angels.

Hope you like it.

Thanks to the winter break I finally had plenty of time to make something serious. So I decided I should stick to what I like to build best of all, WH40K that is :D

This pattern was introduced at the end of the year, I saw its pre-release images and I somehow overlooked its official release. Anyway, I really like this design and its backstory. And I guess it turned out to be a great Lego model to start a year! It has a very nice articulation and should be pretty stable IRL. Equipped with Siege Claw, Storm Cannon plus carapace-mounted Volkite Calivers and Phosphex Discharger. Fortunately, it's big enough to house all of this stuff (yet still being in scale with the rest of my WH40K models). They're getting wider and wider, these dreadnoughts...

A little LDD screenshot giving you an idea of some inner complexity of this model.

Yet another apathetic upload...

It's my image №100 in my Warhammer 40 000 album, a milestone of sorts...

1st Captain of the Mortifactors Space Marine Chapter in Tactical Dreadnought Armour.

I think these 2751 bricks of pain and effort are what I could call my best recreation of WH40K stuff. If you have doubts, here it the reference. I realize that a ton of proper "stickers" might make it better, but I don't really have any suitable images... Anyway, it is one of the most complex models of mine, a crazy mix of technic and system, plus it has a tricky system of geared joints, so it is even possible to make one that could be fully poseable and stable IRL! That little guy next to the main build is actually a spacemarine in his power armor! Yeah, it is that small :D

And my huge gratitude to all those tagged in, I wouldn't be able to complete this without all of the help and inspiration you gave me! Thank you, guys!

My new iteration of a Space Marine frame is designed specifically to recreate that distinctive Chaplain armor.

After I saw the fabuwars MOCs from adde51 I really wanted to join the war. That's why I ordered a piggy fabuland figure quite a while ago. The last weeks I finally had the time to build something fabuwar-related.

I decided to catch both themes: Fabuwars and Mechmonday (sorry for the delay 😄) – Though it's more likely a spacemarine.

Anyway... I hope you like my piggy Spacemarine as much as I do 😄

Shoutout to my building buddies -Balbo- and ranghaal for all the feedback ✌ Check out their profiles if you guys haven't yet: Supreme builds!

This is the newest Forge World's model made in Lego, I started building it the next moment I first saw it! The model may seem a bit raw and not really convincing, but nonetheless I'm really proud of it. The only thing I'd change is the ammo feed, but it's quite impossible to get flex tubes to work with other bricks right in LDD.

I'm not sure when I'll be able to make the next upload, these few last days were really tough in here.

My armor is contempt

My shield is disgust

My sword is hatred

In the Emperor's name

Let none survive

Damn you, POV-Ray, you keep screwing up my renders and I keep depending on you... Just 'cause you're free. I couldn't make a proper lighting for these guys and I gave up after six attempts. I guess this is the best I can get. So, please, forgive me for that imperfect image.

If you're asking yourself why it's called "Terminators" and there's no Schwarzenegger in this picture, it's because they are WH40K Terminators. I made my models based on both average Terminators and Terminator Close Combat Squad, the black one is the Chaplain in Terminator armor. I guess you're already tired of my WH40K stuff, but it is mostly the only thing that still keeps me here... So I'm sorry, but more WH40K is on the way :D

Here is the reference pic: Ultramarines Dreadnought.

It's not 100% accurate, but very. And it is a very stable design, I assure you. There are ball connections for legs and friction joints for arms. It got a bit more bulky than I expected, but I think I like it even more this way.

Thank you all for your support and comments! It's my image #301, yay!

With the new parts available in LDD now I decided to update my old Ultramarine to enhance the articulation and to give him the ability to wear a proper helmet. Check and check! And even though this version may not be perfect to my eye, it is really-really close to what I was going to make.

I thank Rancorbait and www.flickr.com/photos/98281410@N07/ for teaching me how to apply custom decorations in LDD/POV-Ray.

You are welcome to download this model from Dropbox! This helmet has a temporary decoration on it, don't get confused and simply don't pay attention :)

And the last not least: could anybody help me with finding some proper Piraka head decorations? I'm in a desperate need of them!!

I'm not sure if it is scaled properly with this, this or even these... But I think I got all that dread vibe right, that's why I really hope I managed to make it look pretty close those Forgeworld dreadnoughts. I was going to upload another thing today, but (after spending the whole night till six in the morning on this one) I decieded that this was the right choice.

Also it is the first time when I actually replaced LDDs built-in decorations with the help of LDD to POV-Ray converter, so there's no Photoshop here. This is a very nice option, it gives me lots of new ideas. The only thing is I couldn't find any nice patterns for minifigs in free accsess, maybe you could help?

Another render with a spacemarine for size comparison.
