Remembering my sweet little calico angel who died two years ago today. I miss her so much. She was rescued by my dad and he was a huge Chicago White Sox fan hence the name. <3 They both passed away in one week.
Also my heart is with the beautiful people of Ukraine. Praying hard for peace <3
Not what you would expect to see in a historic major league baseball stadium. Yup, a garden. This is in Fenway on a night with a killer sunset. This was taken on the tour, of the stadium, which I highly recommend. No tripods, of course, but I did sneak in a pocket tripod, with the help of a trash can and a bracketed blend, you get garden magic. Go Sox.
Well we've had quite our share of snow this February. Sox, Pops and Marley are getting used to it now and finding all the best places to shelter.
Apologies for not being around the past few days - I've been hibernating and making things (I did have a foray out for supplies ...). I hope to get around to looking at your fab photos later.

For Smile on Saturday...Lucky Charm. My Alex & ani bracelet. I wear it during every game. Doesn't work like a charm all the time. but they won ten in a row. I'm from New England, and I'm a HUGE Red Sox fan.
I admit to posting a compositional nightmare. That being said, I couldn't stop myself and plead "color possession". This is my wife's favorite footwear since I gave her these on Christmas.

A SOX lamp of 35 watt in my Industria Kegel 2000 posttop fixture. It is a low pressure sodium lamp. Such lamps where once common in The Netherlands, UK and Belgium but now a dying breed due to the rise of LED lamps. They are also not being made anymore. Such lamps give a characteristic yellow monochrome light. Here some information. www.soxlamps.org

I went for my usual walk at lunch today and he was sitting on the steps outside his home. I stopped and started talking to him and he came to me so I sat on the sidewalk and enjoyed his company for about 15 minutes. What a sweet guy he is, he loved having his face and belly rubbed.
I expected many Red Sox fans to be at the game, but was surprised at just how many turned out. "Red Sox fans" determined by a Sox hat or shirt or some other signifier.
