friday i opened the mail to find these dreamy warm gloves from sam. they came at the perfect time too...we had our first frost this weekend. sam your gift was so thoughtful, and reminds me how lucky i am to have you as a friend and an inspiration :)
But oh so warm with the right "stuff"...
First Week of 2B..Beyond Beyond...I'm a bit late but first lesson done...not exactly how I would have liked it but I have limited computer time these days...
I loved the lesson as and I'm learning to love still photography...it stretches my mind in ways that it doesn't always want to go but it is fun to try something different every now and again..
So when its cold...pick up your knitting needles and grab some really good merino wool and get started on your socks...if knitting isn't your bag...put the needles down and have a taste of my homemade limoncello...guaranteed to warm you up...made with 100 proof vodka and lots of love.

I'm suuuper spoiled this week. I'm staying at my friend's house in San Diego! It's so warm here! And they have a pool! And palm trees!

I took this picture just before I went up to bed. I have no energy, the heat sucks everything out of me. I passed out reading inthe recliner and woke up to go to bed and realized I needed a self portrait for today. This is the best I could muster in my tired, groggy state. ugh.
