My second pass at this object. Captured a few more hours of data to add to the first set. I used very short exposures with the rgb camera to avoid the bright star nearby (Gamma Cassiopeiae) from over saturating the surrounding area.
"Cassiopeia's Ghost Nebula is a reflection and emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is often referred to as "Cassiopeia’s Ghost" due to its wispy, ghostly appearance. Here is an overview of its key characteristics:
Location and Distance: Cassiopeia’s Ghost Nebula lies approximately 550 light-years away from Earth. It is located near the bright star Gamma Cassiopeiae, a variable star that plays a critical role in illuminating the nebula.
Appearance and Structure: The nebula appears as a faint, ghostly cloud, with delicate, wispy features that resemble spectral forms. It has a combination of emission and reflection characteristics:
Emission Features: The red hue of the nebula comes from the ionization of hydrogen gas caused by the ultraviolet radiation from Gamma Cassiopeiae.
Reflection Features: The blue tones in the nebula are the result of starlight from Gamma Cassiopeiae being reflected off the surrounding dust particles.
Illuminating Star: Gamma Cassiopeiae, a massive and highly energetic Be-type star, is the primary source of radiation that influences the nebula. The intense radiation from this star causes the hydrogen gas in the nebula to glow and the dust to scatter the light.
Visibility and Observing: Cassiopeia’s Ghost Nebula is relatively faint and best observed through long-exposure astrophotography. It can be challenging to see with small telescopes but becomes more apparent with the use of filters and under dark sky conditions.
Scientific Interest: The nebula is of significant interest to astronomers studying the effects of stellar radiation on interstellar matter. It serves as an example of how nearby massive stars can shape and alter the appearance of nebulae."

This was taken from a pull out off the road that leads into the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. As you can see, the view is pretty spectacular as you drive above the canyon leading into the area. The Tuolumne River carves its way through this canyon creating a beautiful scene. The reservoir is the primary source of water for the city of San Francisco. This location is a little off of the main road into Yosemite, but Hetch Hetchy is worth a side trip for this scenery.
The main reason I chose not to add Reliable Source Eden to my expanding Nu Face shelf was that I thought she was too similar to my favorite Erin ever, Lady in Red. That was a tough dolly decision to make!
All the beautiful photos of Eden popping up in my feed made me want to reach for this girl today. <3

The change from Daylight Saving Time back to Standard Time has been a source of consternation for the cats as I try to shift their feeding times an hour later. It is expressed with counter stalking and dramatic licking of the scoop that I use to dole out portions of dry food--as if to say "I am on the brink of starvation".
I can not get them to understand the concept. :D

Manzanar is the site of one of ten American concentration camps, where more than 120,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II from March 1942 to November 1945. It is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California's Owens Valley, between the towns of Lone Pine to the south and Independence to the north, approximately 230 miles (370 km) north of Los Angeles. Manzanar means "apple orchard" in Spanish. The Manzanar National Historic Site, which preserves and interprets the legacy of Japanese American incarceration in the United States, was identified by the United States National Park Service as the best-preserved of the ten former camp sites.
Since the last of those incarcerated left in 1945, former detainees and others have worked to protect Manzanar and to establish it as a National Historic Site to ensure that the history of the site, along with the stories of those who were incarcerated there, is recorded for current and future generations. The primary focus is the Japanese American incarceration era, as specified in the legislation that created the Manzanar National Historic Site. The site also interprets the former town of Manzanar, the ranch days, the settlement by the Owens Valley Paiute, and the role that water played in shaping the history of the Owens Valley.
Almighty God's Word "God Is the Source of Man's Life"
Introduction
Almighty God says, "The greatness and power of the life of God cannot be fathomed by any creature. It is thus now, was thus then, and will be thus in time to come. The second secret I shall impart is this: The source of life comes from God, for all creation, whatever the difference in form or structure. Whatever kind of living being you are, you cannot move counter to the path of life that God has set. In any case, all I wish is for man to understand that without the care, keeping, and provision of God, man cannot receive all that he was meant to receive, no matter how great the effort or struggle. Without the supply of life from God, man loses the sense of value in living and loses the sense of purpose in life."

The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona, United States. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters).
The canyon and adjacent rim are contained within Grand Canyon National Park, the Kaibab National Forest, Grand Canyon–Parashant National Monument, the Hualapai Indian Reservation, the Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Navajo Nation. The surrounding area is contained within the Baaj Nwaavjo I'tah Kukveni – Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of the preservation of the Grand Canyon area and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.
Nearly two billion years of Earth's geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. While some aspects about the history of incision of the canyon are debated by geologists, several recent studies support the hypothesis that the Colorado River established its course through the area about 5 to 6 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River has driven the down-cutting of the tributaries and retreat of the cliffs, simultaneously deepening and widening the canyon.
For thousands of years, the area has been continuously inhabited by Native Americans, who built settlements within the canyon and its many caves. The Pueblo people considered the Grand Canyon a holy site, and made pilgrimages to it. The first European known to have viewed the Grand Canyon was García López de Cárdenas from Spain, who arrived in 1540.

Driving from Chablis to Dijon, you pass by some signs to Source de la Seine. Having never been to the headwaters of a major river, the opportunity could not be passed up, especially after we passed the first turnoff and a second opportunity presented itself.
There, in woods off the D103 road approximately 2 km Southeast by east of the cluster of buildings in Saint-Germaine, or 3 km East by south of the cluster of buildings in Blessey, you feel as though you've been transported to the set of the French version of Deliverance. The flotilla of ATV's blasting out of the forest did not help alleviate the concern.
Nonetheless, there was something spiritual to stand on the very first bridge across the River Seine, even though you could basically step across it anyway.
