Got timestop working for now by injecting the time value before it was being read, this way I could get around the issue with disabling the writing opcode that was causing crashes. It works currently by pressing F1 to Pause and F1 to un-pause the game. Camera rotation is still done with the mouse and jim's camera position script still works for moving the camera.

I've had a few requests to show my new strobe light setup so here you go. What you don't see is that the softbox strobe is connected to a RF trigger mounted to the camera, the other two strobes are set to slave mode.

As you can see its a very simple setup and with the exception of the Metz flash, the rest of the setup is quite affordable and versatile since the setup and tear down is quick and easy.

Today I was kind of in a fog, I couldn't decide which toy to take a photograph of, so I decided that our friend Raziel hadn't had enough love so I went with this toy. Aint he cute?

Lighting was three lights camera right was a softbox, camera left and slightly behind toy, a blue gelled strobe, and to bring out a bit more texture another strobe to camera left and high above the toy was used. If you are really curious this time I took a photograph of the setup used.

Hopefully this works the same for everyone when running this game full screen. I noticed it would re-render windowed when alt-tabing out and then alt-tabing back would re-render again in fullscreen. Which got me thinking, what if we could find the resolution being used and force it to what we wanted before making the engine go back into fullscreen. It was then a matter of searching for 4 byte resolution values (1920) and whittling those down until finding one that worked. The result being that we now have a resolution change solution similar to what SRWE accomplishes. I've tried with all my Windows driver defined resolutions and they all seem to work.

Updated table includes:

- Timeflow control now with timestop [F1], slomo [shift + F1], really slowmo [Ctrl + F1] and normal time [Alt + F1]

- on the fly resolution changer. Run the game in fullscreen, enable the resolution script and alt-tab into the game then back out, this will grab the correct address when the resolution is stored in 2x 4 byte values. You can resX and resY to any defined windows resolution and then alt-tab back into the game to force the new resolution. I setup a drop down with my resolutions already defined but you unless you have exactly the same setting as me (unlikely) you may need to change these entries yourself to use this dropdown. Right-click entry and select "set dropdown options" to edit.

The CE table has everything you could want for screenshooting except time stop doesn't work anymore. Let's see if we can't do something about that.

While wandering around in Odessa, TX and trying to find a place for dinner I decided to stop by a somewhat quirky monument, a local reconstruction of Stonehenge. I didn't expect to see many people there in the evening, but the place was filled with people!

When I asked these two gals why there were so many people out they reminded me of an app my wife had told me to download that day as it had just launched, Pokemon GO. Meet Kelsey and Brittany.

The two had been in the area for 25+ years and had been friends most of their time here. they both had matching tattoos behind their ears from the 'Soulreaver' videogame series. They had been almost inseparable for some time, but both were about to part ways and adventure into life beyond Odessa, TX.

Kelsey was soon to move to San Angelo for school. Having not felt she'd had enough math for meteorology she was opting to study volcanoes/geology/weather and more. She would pick the path from there.

When I asked her of her favorite place in the area she replied 'Comanche Trails'. A location in the south of town where one could get away from the city lights enough to see the stars (if you could dodge mosquitos and ants). She mentioned being part of a fairy photoshoot there as well. She was in the process of creating a Harley Quinn costume at the time and was working on the hammer (made out of foam and using bottle caps for the bolts).

Brittany was a video game fan. She was working at Game Stop at the time (currently my daughters dream job). She was in the process of gathering up all her belongings and moving out to California to join her husband (who worked as a Navy cook for a hospital).

She was also an animal lover. She and her husband were trying to buy a house in California to be able to avoid all the troubles of renting and finding an animal friendly place (or paying crazy fees).

Her current fear, 'lightning'. And it didn't help that the incoming storm had a lot of it along the edges of the enormous clouds. We parted ways so they could wrap up what they were doing before the storm came.

It was so fun to have met other videogame and anime fans out in the middle of West Texas. My wife had told me of Pokemon GO while I was on the trip and I had just downloaded and installed it that day. These were the perfect people to meet to explain more details of the game to me. Thanks for all the game info and for particiapting in 'The Human Family'.

“Shadow is the obstruction of light. Shadows appear to me to be of supreme importance in perspective, because, without them opaque and solid bodies will be ill defined; that which is contained within their outlines and their boundaries themselves will be ill-understood unless they are shown against a background of a different tone from themselves.” ~ Leonardo DaVinci
