Despite my literal poking and prodding, she fell asleep during the last three minutes of our bus ride to school. Needless to say, she woke up when I put her in the stroller, then fell asleep five minutes before we needed to get back on the bus to go home.
Timing was a bit off this afternoon.
Today I decided to make a fruit dip that I learned about from one of my lovely co-workers. It's very simple and easy to make, but I need some ideas on making it smoother (I'll be asking her tomorrow).
Recipe:
1 jar of Fluff (7.5 oz.)
8 oz. of Cream Cheese (I used 1/3 Fat, maybe that's why it's lumpy)
Food coloring of choice.
Mix everything together and dip in fruit.
It's delicious and sweet. I love it.

distressed edges
inked/highlighted distressed parts with coffee bean & orchid ink
it was so nice & BRIGHT outside this AM that it washed out the colors of the papers.....it was 102 degrees here yesterday & that was at 5pm when i got off work! another hot one today. see: www.flickr.com/photos/19184395@N06/3463182890/ for alternate pic.

Meet Brutus.... the newest member of our family. We adopted this little guy from the local Humane Society. He's 17 weeks old, such a sweetie and already housetrained. We really LUCKED out... We finally gave in and got our little guy his doggie.

this was fun to make.
found that stamping on glass is not that easy. very slippery after stamp is inked. i messed up more than once on each side of this jar. the side with the heart, i actaully used my hand to press into the glass surface. that didn't get the best impression either but at least i got the stamped image on. the glass is not all flat & had divets.

This is our new Chocolate Labrador puppy. Her name is Holly Hug. She is 8 weeks old today and the most adorable little girl. I am so excited to get this new life in our home. I am thrilled beyond words.
