Una de las cosa que me ha dado la fotografía es ver las cosas de una manera muy distinta a cómo se ven normalmente. Siempre mirando alrededor buscando algo diferente. Una de las locuras que me dio por hacer en mi última visita en solitario a Belaustegi. No será la mejor foto del lugar, pero diferente seguro que si. Y con eso me doy por satisfecho. Buena semana!!

Tenía ganas de volver a Uguzpe, ya que la vez que estuve, hace 2 o 3 años, no iba preparado para meterme al agua, lo cual limita mucho. Aunque no cayera mucha agua y la luz no fuera la ideal, el ambiente primaveral estaba en su punto, cosa que le viene de lujo a este tipo de fotos. Esa mañana lo pasé en grande junto a @rafadiez78 @javynajerafotografia e @ochoa4inigo

Después de editarla dos veces desde cero, esto es lo que ha salido. Un foto complicada de editar. Al menos para mi que es mi talón de Aquiles. Además una foto de larga distancia que me ha hecho salir de mi zona de confort. De esas para ver en pantalla grande

Sin duda una de las mejores vistas de Euskadi cuando se dan las condiciones ideales. El madrugón del domingo a las 4:30 mereció la pena, aunque aún lo sigo arrastrando. Seguro que volveré muchas veces

The Iconic St Pauls Cathedral London. Designed and built by the Lengendary Sir Christopher Wren in the 17th century. This British rennaisance masterpiece was until the 1960,s the tallest building in London for over 300 years. Taken from on top of the Tate Modern gallery, this was one of my last shoots with a Canon camera before my move to Sony. Shot on the classic 24-105 L lens, this photo without any editing at all, shows why Canons colour science is replicated across the board. Used with a Tiffen polariser, this was the last shoot for me.

Ya tenía ganas de hacer alguna fotografía de este tipo. Y qué mejor lugar para probar que en una de las cascadas más bonitas que existen. A veces hacemos locuras madrugando o haciendo cientos o miles de kms y otras con la cámara en la mano y un poco de imaginación más cerca de casa. Aunque ese día también madrugué un huevo 😜

I thought I would post these two shots out of interest in this wonderful hobby. They are not necessarily for showing your preference one way or the other. More just a chance to see two very different approaches to one similar result.

They are both of the same flower and quite possibly the very same hoverfly. Both are taken with camera/lens combinations which give the same macro ratio of 1:2 which of course is not quite real macro, but still offers good magnification. Both have been cropped and presented to flickr at a width of about 5000 pixels. The Sony shot was taken from more of a top down viewpoint and is the main difference in the two.

One is the Sony RX10 m4 which uses its 600mm lens and the ability to focus closely to within two feet to give the macro shot. The other is my Canon RP with the new little 35mm macro lens which can focus in much more closely to the lens to just 6 inches away. The focal length of the lens on the Sony shot shows as 214mm - that relates to the one inch sensor, but it does give around 600 equivalent.

I was amazed at how similar the two approaches to the one photographic subject turned out.

It was a nice day out and I was getting restless at home, so I went outside to play!

Forgive the mix of imperial and metric measurements used here - I was brought up on a rich diet of both! ; )

Also, I found out the hoverflies love poached eggs! (the flower version)

My first image using a Sony DSC-F717. I wasn't going to put up an infrared today, but couldn't resist this one that I took yesterday with the Sony. I love the difference between Sony and the Canon IR shots, as the Sony shots seem so much crisper, and the processing is so much easier and quicker!

Stagecoach 34816 (PX06 DWA) a Dennis Dart, makes it`s way along Welton Road, Daventry, with an 11 to Long Buckby on the 23rd of March 2017. This is now a route no longer used by stagecoach (as from 27th march) and the Darts themselves are due for imminent replacement.

The Grifin Pub, Kingsway, Rugby. Despite common rumours, a pub I have not been in for many years! In fact, the last time was in the 1992/93 Rugby Union premiership season, when the Saints played Rugby Lions, and a few ales were consumed here before getting to the ground.
