My first time ever trying a cookie dough! It's a very soft cookie baked in the flat bowl and topped with some vanilla icecream. Eat while it's hot. It is super delicious! The ice cream dilutes the over sweetness of the cookie and it just melts in your mouth. Nyummm~
Fill the head with aluminum foil, then lay out some sculpey to change the shape of the head. Then bake in the oven under low temp for however long it says on the sculpey box. its recommended to lay off the booze during this step otherwise you'll burn the whole freakin' house down!
Some more painting is in order...this time neatness counts, so don't have me do it! By this time you'll probably get fed up with art and want to send your fist through a plate glass window. This is normal.
lay out the underpainting. You can be a slob in this step as small details don't matter right now, so go nuts!
Our challenge for today is SOMETHING SWEET and since I had already taken a pic of my MilkyWay bars and my Mints I thought that the Mini Donuts would be the ticket...

I first bought his at Sprouts, then it disappeared so I contacted Emmy and she was surprised since Sprouts was supposed to sell it. I ended up going to Whole Foods, they had it. I was happy, this stuff is sooo good. It's sweetened with Agave Nectar (that's cactus syrup) so I don't mind indulging in it a little now and again.

Join us November 4th, 2011 from 6-9 at the Washington Street Art Center (washingtonstreet.org) for a night of dessert buffet and silent art auction. $10 donation at the door, or in-kind donation of new dry goods, toiletries or clothes. All proceeds go to benefit the SHC (shcinc.org)
This particular design requires that you cut off the ears...then mail them to someone you want to win the affection of...kinda like Van Gogh.

The products I use above are healthy. The Coconut Palm Syrup is like molasses but without all that white refined sugar. Emmy's is Chocolate Syrup that is heavenly, so good and I especially like the Nocclioata, it's got Hazelnuts in it, my favourite nut. It's a way better alternative to Nutella!

I've LOVED these kinds of cookies ever since I first had them at Wegmans and later at La Maison du Chocolat. I haven't seen this kind of variety outside of Wegmans though. [From Something Sweet.]
