Where did the weekend go?

Oh wait, I know the answer to this...up in flames. (it's all good, and parts were very good; this is me wishing the weekend had an extra day, one I could actually put down work for and play on.)

At the Romance Writer's Conference.... my report...

On Saturday, June 30th, residents took part in Family Fun on the Square. This free event provided several hours of entertainment, fun and games while showcasing the many shops and restaurants in downtown Garland. Over 200 people listened to performances by C B Luce and the Garland Opry Band, had their faces painted and raced through the giant obstacle course.

Many attendees enjoyed viewing feature film “Some Like It Hot” at the Plaza Theatre, which was the first time the theatre has shown a movie in over two decades. For information about upcoming events throughout Garland, go to www.visitgarlandtx.com.

Directed by Stasi Schaeffer at the Saginaw Pit and Balcony Community Theatre. This production is very well done and I recommend anyone in Sagainaw, MI that can see it does. Only two days left!

I would so love to stay there...

but it wasn't warm even...still, a good time was had by all

even though the start time was later than advertised whilst we waited for the sun to go down, people just chatted & picnic'd & snuggled in blankets

Christmas TV - black and white and orange

Another of my favourites. The final shot of the movie that contains the ultimate comment. "No body's perfect" when Jack Lemon informs his intended that he is a Man.

The Swedish tourist who took this photo for me told me I *had* to pose like this here. Really? Is this a thing?
