This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75 lens with a HOYA HMC 82mm O[G]) filter using Adox CHS 100 II film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Finished quilting this top up! Very fun but kinda time consuming!

1956 Chevrolet 210 model four door sedan. At the Back to the Fifties car show. It appears to be unrestored but in very solid condition. From the lack of a v on the trunk, it probably is a six cylinder too.
Since I make Vulcan Raven and the Gurlukovich Soldier from the Metal Gear Solid series, I had to make Snake really!!
The hair was a Poly Resin Sculpt. The rest was make using my usual methods, which some of you will probably know by now, although the base of his tac harness is made from real grey leather.
In hindsight, I could have used a Barbosa head for this, but I'm never confident that the sculpts will turn out good, so I don't risk wasting a nice fleshie head. Besides, I'm quite happy with the hand painted face on this one.
Modded a BrickArms Socom for Snakes weapon. Could've made the M9 tranquilizer gun, but I wanted Snake to go lethal for once!!

Montgomery Bell State Park - the lake early on an unusual morning for Middle Tennessee; a week and a half below freezing. The early morning stillness was different than that which comes with the hush of snow. The ice seems to amplify, both noise and cold.

... sinking myself in the solid air. As far as your eyes can see, no horizon. How strange it is to have nothing to look at, nothing to stare at. Only a white milky cloud that goes backwards when you follow it. There could be so many things behind this thick curtain. Many giants or many birds.

Headed up the grade on Main 2 (aka The Inner Loop) this heavily weathered, custom lettered refer car is seen in a pan shot behind a high hood NS SD.
While driving one of the KS Hiways (K 9), I found this cut in the hill that was solid rock. I bet it was a tough job cutting a path through this to make way for the hiway. I also believe after getting out and walking around that there might have been a rock quarry on the other side of the hill.
