Manipura or Solar Plexus Chakra is considered the center of dynamism, energy, will power and achievement (Itcha shakti), which radiates prana throughout the entire human body. It is associated with the power of fire and digestion, as well as with the sense of sight and the action of movement. Manipura is 'the center of etheric-psychic intuition: a vague or non-specific, sensual sense of knowing; a vague sense of size, shape, and intent of being.'
This Solar Plexus symbol is on one of the two Chakra wall hangings I own.

Day 39 of the 365 days challenge.
I'm afraid I might be coming down with something; I spent most of the day flat on my back with Gwendolyn hopping up and down on, and just generally enthusiastically abusing me. It's days like this that I almost feel guilty for taking her from her dad; the two of them used to roughhouse and tumble around all the time. She was very much Daddy's little girl. I've been trying to fill part of that rough-and-tumble void, but especially on days when I don't feel well, it's really difficult.
It sucks that there wasn't anywhere closer that I could go, but I just have to keep telling myself that this is what's right for both of us. I'm certainly not going to keep her from my ex, but there's absolutely no way we could have stayed, either.
I'll just keep telling myself that while a three-year-old continues to jump high in the air and land on my solarplexus. Ooof.

i had a dream last night- i can't remember much of the details, but there was a lot going on and people talking about a lot of things that were going to happen. i wasn't working as anything else but an artist. at some point a couple of people and i walked into a studio, which i knew to be my studio even though i'd never seen it before in real-life. there were several pieces all around. i realized i was dreaming and used some dream exercises i learned a few years ago to commit them to memory. this is my attempt to get them out so i don't forget them. what they actually mean i don't know yet, because i had't actually created them until i saw them in the dream.

Pisa was heavily bombed during World War 2, and the cemetery containing the Camposanto Monumentale Frescoes was badly damaged. The frescoes inside date back to the 1300s and are still being restored. Some show scenes from hell, the Last Judgement, and other stories. This one shows the devil with people coming out of his anus, solar plexus, and an extra mouth on the side of his head.
