Sydney Opera House. This is a classic shot that's been done 00's of times, however this time the light / clouds gods were smiling. This image has minimal post processing and the shining light effect was exactly as shown. Guess sometimes you just get lucky

Method of achieving this orange was explained on my other submission of the SOH. Basically, boost up your custom white balance setting on your camera to the warmest and shot it with -2 exposure compenstaion to create the silhouette with the sun coming up from behind SOH. Little further tweaking on PP and there ya go ;)

Sydney Opera House as the light faded on a clear and chilly April evening.
Often I say 'best viewed large' but for this image very high ISO and rapidly fading light means it's not the best of quality but still a pleasing image I think. Less is more.

We're on a roll for the foggy mornings.
A quick visit down to the misty harbour this morning. I waited for the sunrise hoping and visualizing the sunlight would magically shine behind the Opera house casting spectacular shadows in the air but... it never happened. haha
Maybe next time or I'll just keep dreaming.
