Does anyone pay for lightroom on a Mac? Will it do better than this? I am using only the software that came preloaded on the iMac.
One from the archives. I learned to brighten shadows with this one, and then boosted the color in the sky. This one was a bit dull and I almost tossed it out.
This picture is a render I did some 5 years ago using Poser software. I think that I managed not only to capture a good likeness of her face but also her figure. I used 3 point lighting. The shadows accentuate the curves of her figure. : )

.Mars. - Monster Fucker Permit
MOD/COPY
Sorry, mom.
Available at a reduced price for this week's Crafty Weekends Sale!
Details:
You know, as the director of the Martian Ethics Authority, I thought it would be nice to put a face to this incredible role and show people how easy it is to acquire such permit. Not like - I - personally, needed one tho.
SO, this one is a fully customizable lil thing, so in order for this to be your own personal card you need some sort of software to edit the base, therefore with the purchase comes a link that takes you into the depths of my disgusting google drive and you will find a folder with a PSD file and also simple bare png-s that you can edit with any software, even paint.
You can add the ticks and donor sticker or not, add your signature, change the QR code (don't), add your picture and whatever. I included the normal and rougness maps as well, in case you need them for some reason, but they are already put into the objects in world as well.
I made 4 hold animations, BUT if you are crafty you can easily make your own and put them into the cards, the script will know and use it. Also, there is a resize script that you can remove if it bothers you. Removing these should happen through rezzing objects on the ground. Due to these script the main object wil show it is no-mod, but that's a goddamn lie.
In case you run into a problem, reach out.
You can demo and find them here: .MARS. In-World STORE !
I've just posted a new article on my Landscape Photography is Simple "blog":
"A seascape from idea to post-production," an analysis of another image taken during the same session as the one above. I go into a lot of detail about how I took it, including equipment, camera settings and software parameters, as well as why I used them. I hope you'll find it useful, have a look here:

Darckr
The Darckr Flickr Viewer is a webapp and a mashup based upon the flickr web rest apis.
Darckr allows to view Flickr content and helps in social life and picture management, by posting comments, or editing photo parameters.
For me, Darckr is an experimental platform to study the web2 languages.
Working is easier in beautiful surroundings...
Darckr uses ajax for continuous page preloading and streaming (here my own pictures sorted by interestingness according to Flickr), and the mootools javascript api.
The originality of Darckr is that the end user can freely customize his preferred viewing settings and save them on demand in cookies.
Ironically, this free software has become the mostly used of my programs ever, with more than 3000 thousand users of the full functionality,
several thousand pages viewed per day, and some 70000 api calls per day.
Still rising :-).
Darckr uses Ajax to interact with one's flickr account in ways not offered by the flickr web site itself.

This windmill combines 2 Dutch landmarks, the mills and the tulips. I see it everyday from the train when I go to work. This is the right period of the year when tulips are blossom and you can have in one shot both. The windmill is a polder molen built in 1654.
It was unfortunately already late and I did not manage to get the full tulip field on focus due to a light breeze., However the shot is quite out of the camera. I played with colours, burn and dodge and shadows. No strong post-processing. It is a blend of sky and foreground. The GPS info are accurate if you want to know where it is. Comments Welcomed

[Explored!] I never tire of Mt. Diablo's varying moods, colors, mists, shadows - green in winter, bathed in fog and clouds. Then, golden in summer, rich with sunshine, and then...
Slid on Sundays! This was an extreme slide but not, in the end, that far off from the changeable, moody/brightening GREEN look it can have in winter. HSS!

A photo a friend of mine took while I was spinning a set in VR.
Neat detail: I have screens/overlays in vr showing me two things,
1. Using my webcam pointed at my mixer in RL, I can see my mixer in VR. Angle the overlay screen overtop of the fake vr mixer and now I see my true mixing board in vr space.
2. Same idea but for my software. Capturing my software window into an overlay, I now in vr, I see my software right above the mixer.
Combine this with controllerless hand tracking, and that's how I DJ in vr without taking my headset off, and you get stuff like this image :D
"Compare me to a fly on the wall, see how much I've learned."
I've had a wild 2024, lots of heart break and grief but I also had a grand time learning more about myself and what I want and desire.
In 2024, I want more. More joy, more creativity, just...more. I want less negativity, and it means cutting people out or losing them, I'll do it for my sanity.
I celebrated my birthday yesterday, I'm 27 now! Yay to that!
Anywayyssss, enjoy this photo as it was my final photo of 2024 AND Ive been experimenting with photo editing software and I really enjoy the outcome of this one!
As always, please enjoy but do not re-upload ♥

Lake of the Ozarks is a reservoir created by the 1931 construction of Bagnell Dam across the Osage River in the northern part of the Ozarks in central Missouri. The lake has a surface area of 54,000 acres, and 1,150 miles of shoreline. Most of its shoreline is privately owned.

This was a still-life set-up that I took a close-up of and then processed in Topaz Software to make it appear authentic. It involved two plastic model tanks set up inside a lightbox.
