This photo of a brown and green feather with a nice whitish edge is comprised of sixteen separate stack focused shots. It's a little darker than I wanted, but it was a struggle to try to get the green shimmer to come out without blowing out the highlights. So, here it is, soft and dark.
A gentle landscape:
This is an image to enjoy the soft blending of colours, the blues and greens, soft browns and yellow. I like to see the different shapes and areas which show me that the surface is not flat, but full of slopes and dips leading down to a point of interest which can be anything you want it to be!
I could look at this scene for a very long time and not be bored. It makes me feel serene.
Over the past few weeks, I kept coming back to this feather. I loved the long soft grey of it, and the brilliant orange and brown. But it was curled in such a way that I could not get it to sit right. It does however lay nicely atop a river stone.

Well actually she's not my first Lati as I'm -still- waiting for the pink Sophie of the Little Angel Sweeties collection (which arrives home in a few weeks!), but in the meantime I bought this little fella :D Her name's Cocoa and she's a Lati Yellow G.Belle, make up by Youkosilvara. I hope you like her <3

I have a few "bird favorites" and the female Cardinal is high on the list. Not many female North American songbirds sing, but the female cardinal does. That makes her worthy of "bird favorite" status.
