Three beautiful Harley-Davidson Heritage Softails
Bike details:
Built in 1993 by Bob McKay Harley Davidson, this 1991 Softail has a 74 cubic inch shovelhead engine balanced and blueprinted with modified heads from Head Quarters, 9:5:1 compression ratio, Crane cam, hydraulic lifters, Dell'Orto two throat carb, modified porkers exhaust, and a 1980 four speed (mid shift) transmission. Progressive Suspension built the fork using a narrow glide with two inch under tubes, four gallon dished and stretched gas tank, Arlen Ness brakes and mirror, and Danny Gray seat.
The name of the bike is Deception.

The seller told me this was a "display at a Harley Dealer"; however online research revealed it was most likely the bottom portion of a Harley Davidson Lamp instead...where the lights actually lit up. This is more likely, since there were "cut wire" seen on the bottom center. Either way, perfect scale for my girls.
If you search Harley Davidson Lamp on eBay, you can most likely find one.

The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, is a V-twin softail cruiser motorcycle with solid-cast disc wheels. Designed by Willie G. Davidson and Louie Netz, Harley-Davidson built a prototype Fat Boy in Milwaukee for the Daytona Bike Week rally at Daytona Beach in 1988 and 1989.
The name "Fat Boy" actually comes from the observation that the motorcycle is somewhat wider than other bikes when viewed head-on.
The Fat Boy's frame is derived from the 1984 "Softail" which appears to have a rigid hardtail chassis but which in fact has a swinging arm with concealed springs that was originally designed in a Missouri garage in the 1970's by a mechanical engineer named Bill Davis and later Patented in 1976.
For 2020, the Fat Boy is only available with the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine. Harley-Davidson also produced a 30th Anniversary edition for 2020.
It is one of Harley-Davidson's best selling models and has appeared prominently in a number of TV shows and movies. The Fat Boy earned a place in American pop culture after appearances in the movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Pictures taken as I arrived home after buying this bike yesterday, snow still on the ground but warm enough to ride in jeans and jacket.
I love Harley Davidsons, and as such I like to built them as scale models as well. In fact, I am not really a motorcycle guy, except for Harley's, as a big exception!
This 1:10 scaled Softail Heritage model is almost fully consisting of genuine Lego bricks, that are chromed in a special chroming factory that can actually chrome plastics, by 'plating on plastics' technology. Most parts therefor have a genuine metal layer. Looks good, and a lot of work to keep shiny :-)
This highly customized Harley-Davidson 2005 Softail Deluxe was sporting loads of chrome, custom paint and a giant front wheel.

This is one very rare Harley. The signature is Arnold Schwarzenegger's. He signed it upon his visit to Derrimut 24/7 Gym, Caroline Springs, Friday 14th June, 2013.
It is only 1 of 7 bikes that Arnie has signed in the world and the only one signed outside of the USA.
It is also the only colored bike he has signed as the rest are all black 'Fatboy's'.
This is the only bike of this kind in Australia and there are only 200 worldwide.

In just a few months Ele will turn 20. Ele is short for Eleven. She is the 11th bike I've owned in the last 50 years and will most likely be my last. 2004 Harley Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail.
