Sofia Pinchuk had been studying in Poland and had finished the Erasmus course when war broke out and she found she was not able to get back home. She immediately received support from the Erasmus+ UKR office and continued her studies for 1 more year on full scholarship and funds to live and travel.
In response to the current situation in Ukraine, many European universities have offered their support to Ukrainian students by enrolling them in their courses, reducing or waiving tuition fees, and providing scholarships.

Probably the best looking part of the station, which is not boo bad as Communist monstrosities go, but may be knocked down and rebuilt soon. The station has tracks and platforms that are numbered separately but only one number is displayed on the board - I nearly got the wrong train!

Sofia is my friend, Rita's (last week's person) daughter who celebrated her sixth birthday at a great park this past weekend. I've been a part of Sofia's life since she was three and it's so wonderful to get to see her turning into a little lady. It was a beautiful day celebrating a very special little person in my life.
