I asked my Khala(Aunty) to send me a golden and black chappal/slipper from Pakistan with sequins work...She called and said I sent you both colors and they look gorgeous...The result to that conversation was sublimely happy Colors :) BUT guess what? she sent me same style in 2 colors. When I asked her why did she send me same style in 2 colors? She said Ohh really? I didn't pay attention it was the same style!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S: What you see in the background is my fuchsia sari, I did all this sequins and beads work :)

These tomatoes seriously need to be canned, we just haven't had the time for it lately.
We might do some of them just stewed, but I'm pretty sure our black bean and corn salsa jars are running low & need to be restocked.
Working on post-wedding recovery...
I'm really happy- in the other shots I took tonight I was smiling- but this one seemed more honest to me so it's the one that I picked.
I'm exhausted. Completely drained in every arena. My sister's wedding took a lot out of me mentally, emotionally, and physically. I lived with my parents for about a week, the longest amount of time ever since I moved out, doing lots of stuff for others and not myself, away from my home, routine, friends, and boyfriend. I didn't sleep very well or very many hours and went through an intense emotional rollercoaster.
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm glad for all of it- I learned a lot and became stronger by testing myself and pushing myself further every day.
But hot damn, I'm tired. Gotta catch up on sleep, work, cleaning, photo editing... the list goes on. For tonight, though? Sleep.
