After being sober for 265 I decided to go ahead and enjoy a beer. The Stone Vertical Epic ale from 07-07-2007 was pretty tasty, a little too floral for me but good none the less. Finish that night up with some Ciroc.

But sobriety asserts itself (mostly) and the two mikoshi are carried out of the shrine precinct and into the streets of town.

Workers and supporters of the group Sobriety Brings a Change protest at the Capitol last Friday. They say their program and other treatment resources aimed at parolees and youth offenders has been disproportionately hit by cuts—and that these cuts will end up costing money as people fall off the wagon and back into the criminal justice system.
