CIVIL WAR SOBRIETY TEST:
On your way back to the parking lot (upper left) at Civil War Weekend in totally dry Hempstead County, AR. you must:
1.) Walk the snake rail fence,
2.) Submit to the roadside dexterity exam conducted by the United States Park Service Ranger who's wearing a totally humiliating and non flattering OSHA visibility vest,
3.) Dodge traffic while crossing the highway on the path to the Washington Baptist Church for absolution,
4.) Thence back across the road to your car where you crack open a tall one from the cooler in the trunk!
Heck, and you can't even buy a beer anywhere within a twenty mile radius of this place.
"Agavero"
I was once asked a question. If I broke my sobriety, what would be my poison of choice? It would be two bottles of Agavero (tequila liquor).
I say two bottles of Agavero as one would be lightly chilled and served over ice while the other would be kept in the freezer and served as is.
There's a taste difference between the two methods. As it is not the cheapest drink, I only have fond memories of consuming it. As alcoholism took over, I dropped this drink for cheaper yet potent alternatives.
I found the special edition hand made/drawn glass from a Agavero purchase. This find was made during cleaning out my garage.

Yes moose! We had some great roast, it was super tender and tasty, but there was also a ton of moose steaks and chops and various cuts all BBQd. Also a TON of crab legs!! Apparently "potlatch" is shorthand for "lots of really great Alaskan food"!!
