The Tollytots China Girl 14'' Doll goes through a portion of the roadside driver sobriety test by touching her nose with the pointer finger of her right hand, then her left. In order for her to be able to do this, her forearms may have to be rotated 180 degrees, so they can bend more. She is free standing while going through these poses.

Which path do I take?
The one under construction? Too easy.
The lighted path up top? Yes.
I need to cross those train tracks without getting hit by a train, climb that wall, then get through all those brambles,
Lately, the brambles have been knocking me back off the wall onto the tracks.
Thank God I have this new hobby to occupy my time.

A shot of the Pasadena Police Dept. Sobriety Checkpoint (btw, I actually did have to go through the checkpoint and I passed). I parked my car and ran back to take photos. :D
This was without question one of my favorite photo shoots I’ve done. Robert wrote up a little bio and you can read it below. His story is truly inspiring and he is now 22 months clean and to celebrate I wanted to put this together. I wish Robert and his family nothing but the best. I’m proud of you, buddy. I appreciate the time you gave me to shoot these photos. 🙏
"My name is Robert Martens I’m 38 years old I’m an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee I’m from the deer clan. I started using drugs when I was 16 and quickly my life spiraled bout of control. I’ve been in a number of treatment centers, prison, and more jails than I can count. Finally I had nowhere else to turn except to the Lord I got saved and my life began to change. I’ve been clean for 22 months and because of God and recovery I’ve been given another chance. I have 3 amazing kids who I love very much. I have a relationship with my mother, my brother and my sister again and I get to help other addicts which is what it’s all about. I’m grateful for my life and I’m also grateful for 20 years I spent in active addiction because I survived it all so I could help someone else in that situation. I now love life, love my friends and family and most of all I love the Lord. Yiyiiiiiii" - Robert Martens
It says "Raittiuden Ystäwät" on the wall of this building, which translates into "Friends of Sobriety" in English.
Do it! It is and can be shameful, and hurt but it is life changing! If you can’t take that first step for yourself and have a family, kids- do it for them and once your mind is clear you will see you have made the right choice and you will be forever changed and in the best way. God and all of us in recovery are by your side! Good luck
