Another gasmask shot, swapped out the sweater vest for a suit coat though. Wanted it a bit darker than the previous selfie posted and I think I got it pretty well. Had a decent amount of fun processing even though my moods been fouler than usual as of late. Disgruntled with my country's culture I guess, I'll get over it. And, another non-HDR FTW. Oh, and I definitely prefer the Finnish gasmask to the Russian ;)
Been putting a bug-out bag together, packed for two. Realize it's derivative at this point, but I had no gas mask shots and took the liberty of firing off a few yesterday. Should have tried getting the AK out for an hour or two today, would have been therapeutic. Anyway, this is a culmination of boredom, organization, and my disgust at the renewed "Disarm America" debate with the shooting of Gabrielle Gifford and others in Arizona. No doubt with an unregistered gun wielded by an unstable human. But can't escape politics, whether it's the stupid neanderthal mentality of the Tea Party or the Borg tactics of the far left to try and rob Americans of their arms... And to reflect my current disgust with an American culture that has de-evolved to where the Jersey Shore gets a third season and Adam Sandler movies still get made, where people scoff at subtitles and take their ills to a court ruled by Nancy Grace...
Quote for the day:
"Blind man ask me forgiveness
I won't deny myself
Disrespect you have given
Your suffering's my wealth
I feed off pain, force fed to love it
And now I swallow whole
I'll never live in the past
Let freedom ring with a shotgun blast"
P.S. Also working on processing that doesn't involve HDR... got my workflow down pretty good I'd say.
