I love contrasts like sunshine and silhouettes. This park provides an abundance of that and other notable scenes.
Snug Harbor State Park is located on Muskegon Lake. There are trails that spread out in several directions to the dunes and ultimately to Lake Michigan.

Lion and a paifang (traditional Chinese Gate) at the NYC Winter Lantern Festival, Snug Harbor, Staten Island
Snug Harbour in Streetsville, ON on a balmy autumn day on Lake Ontario. A few boats still remain moored to the docks; the rest have been towed to a safer place for winter.

There were 100's of these paper skulls installed inside this building. Hard to pick out the ones that I liked the best!

Snug Harbor is part of Muskegon State Park. There are several trails that originate from the parking area on Muskegon Lake (pictured). I took the trail along Muskegon Lake to the Lake Michigan channel.
