Dolycoris baccarum in particular do seem to love to snuggle into curled leaves etc... It's adorable!!

My daughter's bedroom gets the morning sunshine which is why it is Zeus's MOST favourite spot.
I went ahhhhhh when I saw him and then was very tempted to crawl onto the bed and snuggle up with him. He looked so cosy!

I love the way this plant wraps its stems around the flowers and seeds to form almost a nest shape for these Shield Bugs to take refuge in.
Work up to Fudge snoring this morning. Found her tucked into the sleeve of this hoodie!
I laughed so much I wasnt' sure if any of the pictures would come out.
Today is the 4 month anniversary of my moms death and this was one of her shirts that I like to wear for comfort.
It was nice to smile for a change and I know my mom would have laughed too!

The universe has fascinated me since I was extremely small. As an adult I can spend hours gazing in total amazement at what is lies in front of me whilst my thoughts roam unhindered until I once again try to reconcile the concept of infinity.
Tonight I was treated to a multitude of various orbiting satellites and four shooting stars. Just a pity the one in between the arms didn't align between his hands.
Perfect night and indubitably, space is vast.

Today, James (my son) his wife, Steph and Joshua are off to Edinburgh to see The Lion King, which of course they will love! We are at home with little Jonah .... so far, he's slept, been fed and slept again!! Fingers are crossed!!

Little baby Jackson had been lying in his little bouncy chair this afternoon when I arrived home and I thought his little blanket hit the proverbial nail on the head for today's Comfort challenge. Most certainly he was as warm as toast all snuggled up in his little blanket!

This tiny tree hopper is only about 3mm long. Possibly microtalis parva (I'm no expert on bugs). Heredia, Costa Rica | May 2009.
Three days ago when I was at App's Mill I spotted this hole in a tree stump and decided to keep an eye on it because I thought it might be a likely spot to find an owl later on. This is what I found three days later. Probably a squirrel but I am not sure. I will keep an eye on it.
Postscript: (November 13, 2013) It would appear that whatever being had this comfortable home constructed for the winter has been evicted since the last couple of times I have been there the hole and some wood chips in it are still there but the comfortable home is gone.
