I could not wait to share my recent snow-white experience with you!!!! I was at the Château this morning!!! I went , right after I uploaded my previous captures!!! Cause it was bright and sunny out there, and….. WHITE!! And THIS is the ONLY reason I may fall in love with the snow : the magical, joyful brightness it adds to anything it touches ; when it is SUNNY, and the sky bright-blue!!
While I was strolling mesmerized in the snowy-white Château wonderland , I slided and fell twice!! Cause everything was frozen, too. I guess , my camera and my lenses were saved, because the snow protected them when I fell! But I never minded!! I continued walking along my secret path, excited and extra happy!!! I met some nice people with their dogs, too!! Well, I can tell you, I was NOT the only extra happy in there…

Ok, this time not with one of my (favorite) Samyang lenses. No perfect focus, i guess the snowflakes irritated the Autofocus a lot. Yes...i should have done this manual... :)

This is my mostly loved Clematis, Me Le Coultre!! Every time I am close to her large, snowy, lacy blooms, I always feel my heart beating so fast....An incredible feeling of deep gratitude fills my being for the Divine Artist, Who honoured me by her presence in the garden!!!

České dráhy bought seven EMU's "Pendolino" from Fiat (later Alstom) and as seven they got nicknames like seven dwarfs from fairytale of Snowhite and seven dwarfs - Šmudla (Dopey), Prófa (Doc), Kejchal (Sneezy), Rejpal (Grumpy), Stydlín (Bashful), Štístko (Happy), Dřímal (Sleepy)
Number 002 is "Happy", unfortunately not all seven units are in service due to accidents and maintenance.

Oh, I just can’t resist it ; this white wonder , I mean (although it is frozen , and indeed I prefer the warm temperatures…)!!! Because , when it is so purely WHITE, SUNNY, and so divinely serene, covering with grace such a blessed wonderland , we become as joyful and mesmerized , as when standing amidst a red-poppies- prairie in the Springtime!! ( This picture is taken a month ago, during our 3 very snowy weeks here in Belgium…)
I do believe it is the Divine Grace working within us , when we become equally uplifted in such very opposing physical situations…Because it is a true blessing! At a certain point , this reaction reminds me of our inner world , where our inner life is full of ups and downs ; where it does happen sometimes that we face ALL --- our internal Springs , Summers, and Winters --- with so much un-conditional Love !! And -- when and if THIS happens --- it becomes a true blessing/Grace from Above!
My main photo pictures what we could see, after walking about 500meters into the central entrance of the Château de La Hulpe. My first secondary photo is what we faced on our right , as soon as we entered. All the rest secondary photos are taken in the magical forest which is found right beneath the few stair-steps that you can see here, in my main capture…

The wicked stepmother 's character is prevalent in fairy tales. Stepmother reflects qualities that
we associate with evil deeds .From a pshychological point of view, I think there is no Evil, just insecurity.From a feminist point of view, the stereotypes we feed our toddlers may affect beliefs that later in life can be realy dangerous.For example, step mothers in a second marriage, or adoption may be looked down on because of rooted beliefs that blood and only blood can make a family stick together.

Well, here the “matter” is a Tulip’s “heart”, which is fading , or dying… But LOOK at it!! Who would ever thought, that a dying bloom would be so majestic, so attractive, so Artistic, so photogenic!!
It seems like telling us joyfully: “Nop!! Next Spring, be ready to meet me again here or elsewhere, dear Humans!! And I will be again mesmerizingly, and Artistically, a Beauty!! Until the “end”!! Cause there is a non-stop Circle of Life!! Springtime is returning non-stop , dear Humans!! Non-Stop!!”
I know how we ALL love the wonderful games of Light, Shadows, Contrasts, and Colours in our pictures !! That is why I loved so much these snowhite pictures of the Château French Garden (: Château de La Hulpe), that we can share today!
That day it was really freezing! But it was SOOO bright and sunny , too!! With magical sunny spots, coexistent with mystical bluish-white shadows! You know: those wonderful Artistic contrasts that Master Nature is a specialist to create! And me, almost all alone, ……mystified by the whole spectacle, asking my dearest Nikon to capture that sublime Beauty, EXACTLY in the way it was presented in front of me….

Walking in my Wonderland at all seasons is uplifting to body, spirit, and soul!!! In those Winter moments, in total silence and serenity it feels like the deepest meditation and strongest prayer to me....The Nature Frozen Beauty around me becomes the highest of presents to me...❤️❤️🌹
I am very pleased with the final result of this image based on a similar image with Charlize Theron for "Snowhite and the Huntsman".
I will refrain from telling you how many hours of work went into this, after all i could just have gone down to the beach and taken a great sunset in LE. OH well..!

Some people have remarked about my beautiful models and given how small Namibia is, i suppose i know the best..:) Most the models i work for are very keen on posing for my digital creations and often help with acquiring the necessary accessories etc. I am in the fortunate situation where they are friends of friends, who become friends and as a result i know who to call when an idea needs to be created.

Eine Aufnahme in meinem improvisierten Studio mit einem kleinen Studioblitz als Slave, einem Kamerablitz als Master und einem Leintuch. Der Studioblitz stand hinter dem Leintuch um eine Überbelichtung des Hintergrund zu erzeugen, Schatten auf dem Leintuch zu vermeiden und um das Gesicht auszuleuchten. Der Kamerablitz hellt den Rest aus der Fotoperspektive auf.
