I don't know about you, but I love Art Galleries and could spend hours looking at the exhibits. Seeing a guy asleep was something I didn't expect to see.
It was a cloudy day
and freedom was high
somewhere deep in the sky
Glorious……
It was a memory,
a phantom,
a shadow that brought me down
Hard!
Is it forbidden to fly in dreams?

enjoying 40 winks this mare initially lifted her head as I approached and sat near , it was a beautiful cool afternoon and I decided to lay down to get a low shot, I was distracted by a magpie who landed close by (birds that I love but find it difficult to get near enough to get any detail ). Deciding the magpie was a no go I turned back to the horse who by now had settled back down and was fast asleep, I think she may have been dreaming as her legs were making subtle jerks. I've seen puppies and people do this, but amazing seeing it in such a large creature. This was certainly one of those special moments.
Morning Lighthouse
One morning Lighthouse,
Stands like a book,
Lighthouse they're awake,
Like children playing games,
Sea is a wash,
Where mud clears off,
Storm is clashing and banging.
Sunset down,
Everyone's in bed,
Lighthouse is awake,
Just like a standing starch,
Getting fierce and fiercer,
Sunset setting,
Sun rising up,
Children playing,
Thunder dematerialise in mid-air,
Start going fishing,
Also sailing,
Lighthouse asleep,
Bird eating seed,
He muffled he muffled he snores.

Nice and sunny at Little Snoring today. It'd clouded over by the time I got to the snowdrops at Walsingham.
It was the end of a long day at Sea World. As we left the last exhibit, I spotted this area full of penguins. It just made me smile to see that they were even more tired than I was. All of them were zonked out. From what I saw, they fall asleep standing up and then just fall over. I kept hearing this funny little honktweeting sound and realized it was this guy snoring.
EXPLORED September 21, 3013
Wish I looked this cute snoring with my mouth open. A beautiful pair of Northern Shovelers were napping in the warm sunshine this morning. It must have felt really good to the female because she went into a nice relaxed sleep. I was not able to get closer for a better photo without disturbing them. Animals spend all their waking hours in search of food, so the little down time they get is well deserved. A photograph is not worth that little slice of peaceful rest, so I admired from a good distance.

Saxon round tower at end of old church. New (!) church added on North side.
Explored!!!! No 396 on 23rd November 2011. I really appreciate your comments and faves. Thanks everybody.
The round tower on this church looked really ancient. I wondered if it could even have been Saxon (before 1066). The tower is separate from the body of the church, which is of a later date.
