White-faced Heron at Balyang Sanctuary, VIC (creative edit)
I love watching these graceful birds go about their day, hunting and fishing in the shallows - watching carefully for minutes before darting their head into the water suddenly to pull out a small tadpole, fish or frog. They can be skittish, and I had to earn this one's trust before he would let me close. It was a great experience.

Since about two weeks neighbour's Snoop comes up to 6 times a day and visits Sheila's home - more exactly: her feeding place ;-)
I knew I was alone, yet I had a sense I was being watched. Eventually I spotted the culprit. What else could I do, but grab my camera. It only seemed fair. Now the tables had turned. Hah!
