That hovercraft, sneaking into my shot!
I'm starting to think 6x7 isn't the format for me. I'm currently running a film through a Pentax 67, but again, it just doesn't seem to be working for me. I may be a 6x6 kind of guy!

I think this is the best spot to watch sunset in our area. The atmosphere on the other day was incredible.

The way back home, after my nightshift, was a plessure with sunrises like this morning. I used the DX mode of the D610, 900mm's taken from a ricebag.
Finally got Thohi to replace the profile picture I made for him 5 years ago by making him a new one.
A pair of Soo Line SD60s were tied down in the siding somewhere near Milepost 178 in Le Claire in 1995.
At the time, the line to Kansas City was still Soo Line/Canadian Pacific and not yet spun off to the I&M Rail Link or Iowa Chicago and Eastern nor bought back by Canadian Pacific.
This former Milwaukee Road line has seen lots of variety and owners over the years.
I hit up Sneaky Petes for a steak and a few brews later in the day and it was pretty good. It looks like it closed in 2018 according to a quick google search.

I managed, with another photographer Paul Spurdens, to get a sneaky peek at the Bristol Blenhiem on its first visit to our shores. Even though she had her "pyjamas" on, the shape was unmistakeable.
Apparently tomorrow between 12 and 1pm, the covers will come off and the engines run up in preparation for its run down to Newcastle for the Festival of Flight :)
The weather experts say it´s summer! But I still will call it spring until 1st of June :)

My last GoH build for this year, wasn't in the mood to do another diorama, so I made... well this thing. :)

Whilst enjoying the orange glow of the sunrise this morning, this rainbow was shining bright behind me :)
